Opera 8 is the fastest, most secure browser. It also happens to be the most feature packed out of the xbox and you can customize better than any browser.

Noo I`ve used many times Opera and alway I had probs. Ok I never tried the 8, but FireFox is working fine, so I don`t want change. And

hey i like IE thats all i use 95% of the time, i got firefox just for warez sites and such with lots of garbage.

IE have many security bugs ...

Just wait for IE 7...

You got to wait longer. Maybe IE 10. Microsoft is slow when it comes to patching things up. Just look how many security flaws is in the most current version of XP, when all those flaws are non-existent in Mac OS 9.

hey least us windows people dont have to get a whole new operating system every revision to get a service pack.

I use Netscape; though I develop web sites, so I also use Opera, Firefox and IE too. Firefox is my main browser, but the new Opera is looking pretty good too!

Edit: And for anyone who questions the price of Opera, it's not that expensive, and it's still the most compliant browser out there

I use firefox, but the only complaint I've got is I can't download the updates. I have no idea why that's like that. I used to use IE but it just kept acting up...so thus, I'm using firefox.

IE7 beta is out, and it pretty much sucks.

Deer Park Alpha 2 (next gen Firefox) is better, and it's still only in Alpha!

IE7 has't fixed CSS rendering bugs, and after 5 years finally supports alpha transparency in .PNGs.

I saw some stats a few threads ago. 20% Firefox is higher than global average, so this is a relatively tech savvy board (as well as all the alternative browsers).

I've got IE, Avant, Opera, Mozilla and Firefox, and Firefox is my default.

Opera 8.2 is fast, especially compared to a fully-modded Firefox. Still not my default, but I could get rid of ads for free, it would be a damn sight closer.
