things are aiight. im a lil calmer today lol!

annyway without further ado.. i present.. a very very late ipod Video review!

iPod 5G this is persuazn, persuazn this is the iPod 5G. okay now that you two have met, we can launch into the details.

Teh Specs

Colour: White or Black

Capacity: Comes in 30gb and 60gb flavours, holding up to 15,000 songs, 25,000 photos, and 150 hours of video.

The screen: Bright 2.5-inch, 320 x 240 pixel TFT display (what does that mean? its orgasmically good, thats what it means!)

Battery Life: Up to 20 hours on the 60gb model (i dont have to charge mine for friggin days and i listen heaps)

size: 30GB model is 4.1 x 2.4 x 0.43 inches; 60GB model is 4.1 x 2.4 x 0.55 inches. ... yeah ok heres a picture of my 60gb in comparison to the nano and another household object. well a highlighter.

Teh Pros

- Sleek design. like seriously its a hot chunk of pure sex. really.

- Beautiful screen quality. this is like a tiny lil LCD screen in the palm of your hand, crystal clear and sharp. absolutley beautiful to look at.

- wonderful battery life, i could listen to music for a day straight without needing to charge

- album art - it makes things pretty

- its customisable. there are programs available that can be used, with a little skill and a lack of fear of voiding your warranty to change ipod images and text.

(yes.. thats hot)

- photo storage.

- it plays video! you can store anything on it, tv shows, movies, music videos, random hot clips of adriana doing her thang..

- it has TV out, meaning that with the purchase of a cord (you may even already have one at home) you can watch your videos and also do slideshows of your photos (photos come out amazingly clear)

- the click wheel. this is such a great feature which provides such quick and easy access through even the largest of image libraries

- features such as games and screen lock and world times are.. spiffy!

- value for money. if you look around the market your not going to find a player that matches the iPod 5G's capabilities for such a cheap price.

Teh Conz

- mpg4. <_< Whats mpg4 you ask? boo its the format all ipod videos must be in. This (unless your gonna use itunes to buy your shit which i doubt you are) involves a lot of converting. fortunatley there are a lot of programs available which you can use for your ipod conversion needs, but its fiddly and does take a lot of time and sometimes doesnt work.

- scratch magnet! you pretty much have to buy a case for ur ipod if your like me and fuss about things like scratches (im planning to sell my ipods once something newer and cooler comes out so i like them to be in peak condition). Ipod cases come in the leather, silicon (see my nano), and hardcases (see my ipod 5G) and vary in price from about $15-$45.

- shortened battery life when viewing video. An ipods 20 hour battery life can be pushed down to about 3-5 hours if your just going to use it as a video player. Its important to note here that it is not in fact called the ipod video. its the iPod with video. It was never meant for just playing videos. But hey you can watch about 1 feature film and maybe a couple of tv episodes at a pinch in that time. no real complaints here.

One of my friends has the 30GB one. I don't care for the video but the storage space is cool of course! It's very nice.

^ my ipod gets warm when it plays videos! hell id cuddle up with it on the cold and lonely nights. at least it doesnt have cold feet <_<
