^ I love Candice & always will but it feels suckky that she is getting more well-known...its good for her i guess but i dunno she seems to be everywhere especially VS- they wear her out! i wanna see more of Emanuela- especially on those #99 sexiest women lists, she deserves it better then most of the models on there!

The thing about these lists is "hottest" is meant with a double meaning word as in looks and success to a degree (as in "hot right now"). Someone that suddenly takes a break from the scene and goes from 3 to 93 of course didn't decline in looks that much in just one year, but just doesn't uphold the other meaning "hot right now". Then models are always an underdog because celebs are more and more taking their place in cosmetics commercials and magazine covers and on top of that there's the context to hotness. A 7/10 model will have a hard time beating a 7/10 woman on a hit TV show or with a popular song and thus do better on these lists. And then even with the models, those dating famous people have an advantage. Needless to say, its always good to see someone I like in the top 20, but I hate all these lists at the same time . So much politics, even if they did it by online poll at least it would give people some say.

The voters are always regular visitors/readers I guess, so these lists just work like auto-suggestion half the time. The field of potential winners is pretty small because it's almost exclusively made up of anyone appearing in said magazine/site and anyone in the limelight. I imagine that's why you so often see someone like Lady Gaga making top 100 lists. A totally confident and consummate performer? Of course. Hot? Hmmmm. But she's currently in the public eye and her name would spring to mind quicker than say, a Charlize Theron. <_<

yeah, funny thing is - under each page are comments left by registered users and many of them are complaining that the list is bogus and stupid yet they are the ones voting.

i find it weird Liu Wen was on the list, i read all 68 comments and there were only about 4 positive/nice ones, the rest were ppl saying she looks like a man and that theyre are hotter asians out there...so im guessing many of her fans voted for her
