Does your GF/BF's Sexual past really bother you?

I can honestly say to the women I have been lucky enough to enjoy having sex with, I was bothered about just 1 of their sexual pasts, and I think that was the Second one, only because I was young (16) and she had been around a bit thus embarrasing me when I 'bumped' into her previous guys... But after then, NO.. Who cares?

I found it interesting that a good friend of mine was quite happy to be in a relationship with a girl, until he found out she'd had sex with something like 50 different men in the last 20 years. I asked him... "Why does it bother you?" and he can't tell me, he just says it does.

Why are we such a Jealous lot? Why can't people accept that anything in someone else's past, can't be changed by anyone, and EVERYTHING in that past, led the person to be with them... people should just be happy for what they have got.

No. I've done some crazy things in my past so not a lot would bother me. Unless of course he did something that landed him in jail.

hey I'm not really the jealous type..but if my boyfriend had been with like 20+ girls, not only would I be uncomfortable...i would feel very intimated. But thats not the case, i'm not bothered by it if its not anything CRAZY like Cop11 said, no jail time, diseases etc.

If i had a Gf, the answer would be no.

by the way, i think if we can't deal with our partners' past, we can't really deal with their personnalities...

we build our personnalities on our experiences (even if they could be stupid) and if we can't accept who they are, where is the love ? and people evolve...

Why does it have to be about jealousy? Maybe it's just about being more conservative and being grossed out by a certain number. I can empathize with your friend because I went out with a guy who he told me he slept with 60 something women. He was only in his early 30's, and to be honest, that turned me off. I am pretty sure he wasn't lying either.

It's not about their sexual past bothering me but about being compatible. If your BF/GF doesn't feel the same way about sex and sexual relationships as you do, then there is some incompatibility there. You cant have a wild child/very sexual person and a prudish virgin being together. That only works in romance novels and not in real life.

So it makes me wonder what he had to be on for all of that to happen. Sad part is that I know he's not lying because his mom's intervention was the reason he broke up with the old one, the other two... well there's a longer underlying reason I wouldn't doubt it. He doesn't brag about it, but it just gives me the creeps.
