Best of all, they've kept 48 year old Christy Turlington's beautiful lines. I'm especially happy about this because when I was shown the proofs of these pictures a few weeks ago I was told pointedly that they were unretouched and I shouldn't show them to anyone until Steven Meisel had finished working on them. I hope they won't get rid of the wrinkles, I said. Don't bank on it was the gist of the reply from the press office.
