Not sure, but something dramatic had to happen to her. After all, she is pregnant with her first child. She had to take some type of hiatus. I remember when Jesse L. Martin's character got shot on the regular "Law & Order" last year. I believe he went on hiatus in order to appear in the movie "Rent".

WOW!!! That episode has EMMY WRITTEN ALL OVER IT!!! Question is, who will Benson and Stabler partner up with? I think Stabler should partner up with Fin, since they seem to have similar problems their wives and kids. I also think that Benson would match up well with Munch, since they both have no family.

Did anyone see the one where the mother killed her baby by shaking him/her? and Elliot told the Captain about hitting his daughter over spilling grapejuice on a new rug they couldn't really afford? I just saw that one-never saw it before but gosh it was sad
