I have impression that they put less important thing on the front, and skipped many interesting threads from book. I think they should mix next parts of the book cause it will be quite hard to show the story without many important characters who hasn't appeared in Feast 4 the Crows. The Ninth episode was so far the best in this season.
In earlier seasons I thought the same, but then I changed my mind. There are too many characters and so short time in a season and if I wouldn't have read the books I think I would be confused many times. Sometimes I am that now too... 
this season was way much better than the previous one, but agree with you about Stannis.
Plus Daenerys was less annoying... Maybe this made the difference for me.

When she speaks the Dothraki language... LOL....Then she's funny, I admit it.
I liked her in the first season and book though. Maybe because she didn't speak much then. She was cute. Now just irritating.

^ It will probably just have the first part of the book, so I think you shouldn't worry about it . It also has to cover A Feast for Crows.
