I will probably read the books someday but only if they are complete.  It seems to torture the fans....

Alt shift's analysis of Cersei's character arc is compelling- He believes that the weight of the evidence shows that Cersei will eventually fail in the war and have her back against the wall in King's Landing.  In a final act of defiance (like Adolf Hitler..) she will seek to detonate the wildfire that's beneath it.  Like the King prior to her, Jaime will kill her to prevent this.

Also, Alt Shift believes that the evidence shows that he will strangle Cersei to death with the symbolic necklace that she currently wears on her throat.  But unlike the first time, he will fail in his second attempt to save the city.

The ending will feature the throne room in ruins with Cersei and Jaime dead- similar to all the flashbacks presented in the show so far.

TBH I'm not that optimistic about S8 after seeing the quality of S7.  Looking most forward to seeing how it will end

I'm optimistic S8 might end up being the 3rd maybe 4th bets Game Of Thrones season, which would make it the best season of a TV Series in the last 4 years since S4 basically
