Three weeks ago the state where I was born in Brazil was hit by devastating rains, leaving 431 of state’s 497 municipalities heavily flooded. Just in a couple of days it rained the equivalent of 6 months of rain. Entire neighborhoods got completely destroyed. The property damage has been measured in about R$19Billion so far (about U$4Billion). Considering this state of emergency, last week I had the honor to support @alessandraambrosio and @cindymello on their dinner in benefit of Brazilian Soul Fund, that together with the @brazilfound had the goal to generate resources to rebuild the devastated areas of our home state Rio Grande do Sul 🇧🇷
