"Shooting backstage is about being tuned in to the detail and not getting lost in the bigger scene. This shot of Anna Beatriz published in Victorias Secret ‘Backstage’ book in 2004 and in my own restrospective book ‘Russell James’ in 2009. I have many hundreds of images with this type of intimacy and ‘one of these days’ I’d love to publish a backstage dedicated book from Fashion shows to rock concerts to behind the scenes of shoots.
