why didn't you delete them, Joe ? I know all that contribution thing but it's really annoying to see those red lines in almost every post and is annoying that when you search, you'll get only post names, without pics what's the difference between non contributing and contributing but can't see stuff ? pls delete... Oh yeah, I meant to explain that. I do have a general system when it comes to deleting posts that don't violate rules. The system is that if someone responded to it and its on topic, I like to try to leave it. The prospect of deleting on topic posts that someone responded to can be a bit of a complicated business seeing as how then one would in theory have to commit to deleting every post that ever responded to it to keep the general balance. That's mainly because I like to encourage on topic conversation in general and its hard to do that when deleting on topic conversation just the same as off topic conversation. Also, just for general principle, I don't care to delete all records of people's hard work and contributions. Even if its someone that will never log on again, I don't care to just delete everything they ever did just because it expired after eight years, so I figured just removing the picture itself was enough. To me, it also somewhat upsets the balance to say that any eight some odd year old picture with a broken link should be deleted. For example, if you want to click on replies to see who the top contributor of the thread is, it means nothing if the real top contributor or third best has half or all of their posts deleted. I also left the ones with a title so that people would know exactly what pics to replace. The ultimate goal would be to replace those pics I assume? So all in all, I try to delete mainly the ones that have no response, no words in the post and no title to them. If its a case where there is a general on topic comment with an exceeded pic, I definitely don't see the need to delete it in that case if the comment could have been a post without the pic. I'm considering altering the system to possibly say how many posts were deleted and thank them or something, but all in all, its a work in progress. I personally think posts that are more than two or three years old should get a pass in general, but my opinions aren't set in stone. Just tell me what you think of this and we'll likely meet somewhere in the middle . ~ Post Edited by Joe > Average

as I checked most of the pics from those named posts are reposted again on thread and their links still work... so I still think they should be deleted...

what I think of is to edit the cleaned threads' titles and write "Thread's Cleaned" or "Broken Links're Deleted" or something like that... and everyone will know that some posts are deleted Yeah, I still don't think we understand each other on this one and I still don't see how exceeded bandwidths in seven year old posts is that bad, but I'll try . ~ Post Edited by Joe > Average

i have a question...can posts be rearranged? for example: #20 to replace #15 ?

OMG NOOOOO!! I was just curious if its possible i just gave an example....can u undo it??now my jcrew ided models are gone... DOops even though you said for example, it didn't occur to me that it was part of the example since I figured the can it be rearranged part was self explanatory.
