Eddie's Wimbledon appearance comes just weeks after he took to the court himself, to play a charity tennis match.
The actor showed off his ball skills during a tournament at Queen's Tennis Club, partnering sporting ace Tim Henman for one of a series of Rally Against Cancer games.
Dressed in tennis whites, Eddie was soon the talk of the television, and was even trending on Twitter.

Do you dream of Eddie Redmayne, the handsome British actor who has starred in the hit flicks My Week with Marilyn and Les Miserables? We’ll confess that sometimes the dapper 31-year-old artist enters our REM sleep with his charming ways and enticing accent. But we’re more curious to find out what Redmayne dreams about when his head falls onto his pillow!
Does the actor dream about winning an Oscar Award or perhaps a match during Wimbledon? Well, if you’re so inclined to find out why don’t you just ask the two women who watched Redmayne snooze on his most recent flight! According to reports the sexy star had a strange encounter when two stewardesses stalked him while he was unconscious.
"I fell asleep [on a flight], and when I woke up the man next to me asked, 'Excuse me, are you someone important?'" he recalled to GQ magazine. "I must have looked confused. He explained: 'I'm asking because the stewardesses came over and were watching you sleep.'"
We’re not entirely surprised that the flight attendants were gazing at the gorgeous English man dozing off. In fact, they must have become smitten — just like us — after watching the actor’s incredible portrayal of the love-stricken, and ambitious Marius in Les Miserables! There’s something about a head-over-heels man in a movie that just makes us weak in our romantic knees. But Marius wasn’t the first role where Redmayne had to act out a complicated love scene. In My Week with Marilyn the actor played a boy infatuated with the blonde-haired sex icon. "Maybe, I just seem really unlucky in love?" he quipped when asked why he gets cast in these types of role.
But Redmayne is far from unlucky! The actor is dating Hannah Bagshaw, his adorable brunette girlfriend, and according to reports the two have a wonderful relationship. “I'm lucky to be with someone who is very supportive,” Redmayne told People magazine, adding that she is the one responsible for his red carpet ensembles. “I'm confused with colors. When I go out to premieres and events, I have to check with my girlfriend that the trousers match the top. I recently wore a blue suit and I had to ask her if it was really blue rather than purple. She assured me it was blue. I could not tell the difference.”
Redmayne could have fooled us with his “lack” of fashion sense. During Redmayne’s interview withGQ’s the stud modeled the magazine’s latest fall 2013 style preview and we have to admit he looked better than ever! From camel coats to suits of plaid Redmayne owned every single look. But it was his leather ensemble that gave this sweet star a bad-boy vibe — and we kind of liked it!
