December 6, 2006 -- BRITNEY Spears' wild and crazy nights with new pals Paris Hilton and Brandon "Greasy Bear" Davis have caught the eye not only of her concerned fans and the public - but also of the Los Angeles Department of Children & Family Services.

A source close to the singer said, "The department has been calling Britney trying to set up a meeting with her, so they can check on [spears' baby sons Sean Preston and Jaden James]. The calls started after this recent bout of bizarre public behavior."

But they are not the only ones worried about Spears.

Her family is aghast at her all-night partying with Hilton and Davis and were mortified when, on four separate occasions, Spears was shot by paparazzi not wearing any underwear.

The family source said her mother, Lynne, "is very disturbed and has been trying to get a hold of Britney, but she can't. Lynne, Britney's brother, Brian, and her dad, Jamie, are very upset and are trying to stage an intervention with [spears' manager] Larry Rudolph's help."

A rep for the Department of Children & Family Services in L.A. didn't return calls.

But it wouldn't be the first time the family service agency's social workers paid a visit to Spears. On April 8, representatives for the department, along with the L.A. County Sheriff's office, went to the Malibu home Spears shared at the time with hubby Kevin Federline after Sean Preston fell from a high chair and hit his head while he was under the care of a nanny.

Another friend of Spears said it is possible the department is now merely following up on that original visit. But the Spears household has probably become even less stable since April.

Three different times, Britney has checked into L.A. hotels like the Viceroy with Hilton, rather than go home to her sons, who are presumably being watched by her mother.

Us Weekly reports that father Jamie recently had a stern talk with his Britney. The magazine notes, "He was not happy with her antics . . . He told her that she's a grown woman and needs to act like one, and she's been making bad decisions."

Hehe, she is just looking to get the media focused on her.

Any info on her new album? I hope it has a similar style to In The Zone. That is her best album.

hehehe, maybe not but I would love to think she did. Makes me feel better but I mean I kind of agree she did go a little to far but hey she's still young. I honestly don't think I would want to see her like thirty and doign what she's doing.

Well..I mean the paparazzi never makes anyone look good even if they are doing something they aren't supposed to or drinking. She admits that she smokes and I don't have a problem with that but as long as she isn't going home sloppy drunk then it shouldn't be a problem. I heard about that whole the LA DCFS service calling her house, they wouldn't do that unless there is a real reason, and her kids have her mother there apparently and a nanny, so EVEN if she's not there all the time child services can't call her. I think it's pretty funny how much attention she's getting when there is alot more crap going on in the world it's kind of hilarious.

I think she's starting to get realy trashy...hanging out with Paris and all...a responsible mom, even if young, doesn't go out drinking and partying every weekend...if not almost every day in her case. She needs to smarten up so her kids can have someone to look up to eventually. We all know the dad is a lost cause...

I think we all think the same way about Brit.

told Brit I'd write a bulletin on here to try to clear some news to atleast the people who are on my list...

Lately, you've been seeing pics of me and Britney partying (blah blah) and she knows that some of her fans are very upset about what they call her "behavior" and sadly they're blaming the issue on her being friends with me. Yeah, me and Brit have become really close in the past few weeks, and we've gone out alot in the past few nights, but I never influence anything she does, and neither does anyone else.

Brit is her own person and she deals with her own things everyday. For people to call out her parenting skills on behalf of her partying ethics is appalling. Britney loves her kids to death, and I know for a fact that it truly hurts her when she sees these cruel things being written about her.

She goes home every night to her babies and partying has not come in the way of her parenting.

Anyone who has called her out on this should really be ashamed. There are thousands of mothers out there who like to go out and have a good time. But, you do not see people out there calling them "bad parents" She's young, and if she wants to go out and have some fun, let her. Just because she does these things does not mean she doesn't care about her children. For the sake of Britney and her kids, be kind
