I just saw Barbie and I loved, congrats to Margot and everyone involved for the sucess. 
I just lost a ton of respect for Margot knowing she played in this terrible movie. 
This movie looks like garbage, a symptom of a society that promotes hatred, distrust and spite.
She doesn’t care about you or your opinions, also I haven’t seen the movie but I am positive that you’ve been watching too much Ben Shapiro.

‘Barbie’ Crosses $500 Million Worldwide in Just Nine Days

Barbie” has officially crossed the $500 million mark worldwide and it’s only been in theaters for 9 days. It could very well dethrone “Super Mario Bros” as the top-grossing movie of the year. It’ll probably top the $750 million mark by Sunday. ‘Mario’ was at $693 million after its second weekend.
This is more than just a movie. It’s a cultural phenomenon. Greta Gerwig’s playful dollhouse has also grossed $250 million domestically. Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, and, especially, Gerwig will now reap the benefits of being in such a popular enterprise.
Oh, and “Barbie” grossed $21.4 million on Thursday, that’s higher than last week’s Thursday previews. That is insane. “Avengers: Endgame” made $21.5 million in its second Thursday. So what we’re looking at here is a historic box-office success.

I’m happy for the success and everyone involved, but nah, it’s just a movie. That doesn’t mean movies can’t be very successful, but would you really describe super hero movies like spider man a “cultural phenomenon”?? 🤣 Even if it ends up being the top grossing movie of the year this happens a few times each year, are we having 3+ “cultural phenomenons” inside theaters every year?
Spiderman himself might not be a cultural phenomenon but the whole Marvel is - and DC too even though they are less successful than Marvel.
And knowing Mattel now wants to grow and become like Marvel by making more movies about their toys and games, yeah, it can definitely become a cultural phenomenon.

It's definitely a cultural phenomenon. It's the symbol of the hatred and spite that have taken over a big chunk of our society.
The producers/actors say they don't care about our opinions? Fine, it's their choice to be controlled by their resentment.
I care about their opinion, but I can't respect a movie made out of hate.

Margot's esthetics is good in this movie. Her character looks pretty on the outside, but not on the inside. Hate, spite and resentment uglify people.
This is an actress that wears pink and is beautiful both on the inside and outside.
She's kind, compassionate and courteous. These are forgotten qualities in 2023

The last thing I felt (before, during or after) BARBIE was hate. I had actually lots of fun while watching it and recognized myself in many things particular as a woman, yes. But Barbie isn't flawless she's actually miles away from being perfect (in both worlds, real and Barbieland) but that's the whole point of the movie. No one is perfect and even more important no one has to be. For me the movie is about solidarity, understanding, commitment for others and yourself, acceptance for others and yourself, equal rights - not only womens but mens too (or Kens lol) and learning not only from mistakes but each other to make it different/better in the future.
