Kelly was born in New York, New York, and raised in London. She is the daughter of a French-Canadian father who worked as an accountant and an Irish mother who was a housewife. Her first marriage was to producer and restauranteur Victor Drai in 1984, and they divorced in 1986. Between 1987 and 1996, she was married to actor Steven Seagal, by whom she had three children, Annaliza (b. 1987), Dominick (b. 1990) and Arissa (b. 1993).
LeBrock began her career as a model at the age of sixteen. She went on to appear on hundreds of covers and magazines including a Christian Dior ad. LeBrock also became one of Eileen Ford's most sought-after models. She was the Pantene spokeswoman who spoke what would become the pop-culture phrase, "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful."
LeBrock became a phenomenon for a short time in the 80s based upon her appearances in two movies, The Woman in Red (1984) and Weird Science (1985), both produced by her first husband, Victor Drai. In 1985 she was awarded the ShoWest award for "Female Star of Tommorow." LeBrock and Drai divorced in 1986.
She married martial arts expert and actor Steven Seagal in 1987. Seagal had once been LeBrock's bodyguard, and they moved to a ranch near Santa Barbara, California. The next year, a large five foot magic realist portrait painting was commissioned by LeBrock from artist Zachary Selig and featured at the "100th Anniversary of Hollywood - Portraits of the Stars" exhibition by the Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, and LeBrock appeared with her portrait at the exhibition's gala opening ceremony in 1988. In 1990 she starred in Hard to Kill opposite her husband Seagal. She appeared in Betrayal of the Dove (1993), Tracks of a Killer (1995), Hard Bounty (1995) and several other films.
LeBrock gave up much of her acting career in order to raise her three children. After her divorce from Segal in 1996, she continued living on the ranch outside Santa Barbara. She had roles in the film Wrongfully Accused (1998), The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2002), and Zerophilia (2005).
In 2005, she expressed a desire to lose weight and restart her film career after experiencing a notable weight gain in recent years (as indicated in an interview for Entertainment Tonight.) LeBrock became a contestant on VH-1's Celebrity Fit Club 3. Captain of the team "Kelly's Bellies", she lost 31 pounds, and although she later regained the weight, she maintains that she is very happy and has come to terms with no longer being a "size 2". Kelly appeared in the third UK series of Hell's Kitchen but was voted off by the public.
In 2006 she starred in the award-winning, independent film Gamers: The Movie. As of 2007, her most recent film was The Mirror.
