Challenging her beliefs just made my friend dig in even more, so I think Sunnery, unless he's 100% on board with this shit too, might just not know how to get through to Doutzen when she's like this. She probably doesn't know anyone who is affected either, so it's easy to downplay and ignore. My friend doesn't know anybody who had it. I know 18 people, two of them died from it, 3 of them are now long haulers with chronic lung issues. For me, it's real, for my friend and Doutzen it's just something people who don't matter get and die from. 

Her birthday is next week (Jan 23, 1985). I am curious which important people in the fashion industry will congratulate her on social media. Then we can estimate how big the damage is.

Well looks like we have our answer about whether she was able to drag Sunnery into this as well. He agrees with her

Sidenote: even if you can't read what is written it's funny how you can always recognize a dumb person by their excessive use of exclamation points. 

I can't believe what Doutzen is doing with her career. I just hope she gets at least some Vogue cover at the end of the year. Since she debuted in 2005 at Vogue Italia she has NEVER been a year without having at least one Vogue, I hope this year will not be the first!

Starting from more at risk subjects, everybody will receive an invitation to get the shot. But making the appointment after getting the invitation is voluntary.

Yeah they can't make people do it. Putting a law through that makes it mandatory would be very hard to accomplish, so Doutzen and her family will not be getting it. Alongside a whole bunch of other delusional people.

I know that Doutzen will refuse to get the vaccine, but with people immunized, she can get back to work, at least some Vogue NL cover!

I like your optimism but I think that when the world is vaccinated (or well, the richer countries that can afford it...) Doutzen not having done so could be grounds to not book her. With her online antics I also don't think a Vogue NL cover is in the cards anytime soon. Highly doubt they want to associate with a model who posts such controversial (read: idiotic) opinions online. Of course only time will tell but my bet is that this stuff can really damage her already fading career. 

Hopefully the industry bans her from any work if she doesn't get the vaccine.

In the Netherlands I believe that she has practically destroyed her image and has canceled herself with the lot of dangerous idiocies that she has published throughout these months, when the help of many "influencers" was needed to raise awareness about the danger posed by this pandemic, she has not only not helped but has dedicated herself to spreading false and dangerous information. It would be stupid for any dutch brand or magazine to want to associate with Doutzen Kroes, "the stupid anti-vaccine denier", because in the Netherlands everyone knows what she has done and continues to do during the pandemic.

But perhaps in other countries she can continue working relatively normally, I'm from Spain and here literally no one has found out about the stupid things that she has been doing and saying on Instagram, she isn't famous at all in Spain and I imagine it will be like that in many other countries, I don't think that in Italy, USA or Russia they have found out all the nonsense that she has said. So I can perfectly believe that Vogue Spain (or Vogue from many other countries) work with her. In fact, how many people in the fashion industry have we seen tell her to stop lying and spreading dangerous anti-scientific ideas? If I remember correctly, no major editor, designer, model or photographer has said anything to her. In fact, several well-known models (Candice, Joan, Miranda, Gisele, Lilly, etc ...) often comment heart or clapping hands emojis in her posts on Instagram.

The fashion industry is cruelly superficial, as long as people don't find out, they don't care from working with sexual abusers to dangerous deniers and I'm not saying that a sexual abuser is the same as an anti-vaccine denier, but the important thing is that as long as these incidents don't affect the image of the brand, they will turn a blind eye.

She may not be able to travel for work. I think we'll see many countries impose a travel ban on people who are not vaccinated. Which is fair, I think.

I think Doutzen's career is pretty much done, I wouldn't be surprised if L'Oreal drops her tbh. She already wasn't working much outside the NL/Europe and if she's really cancelled in the NL after this... I can't quite see her bouncing back
