o1.) Elvis

(maybe not the best take on Elvis ever made but like most Baz movies the visuals are stunning and Austins performance is a force of nature. I was blown away in cinema. truly a performance for the ages or movie magic at it's finest. It was like watching a movie star born )

 

o2.) Dune part 2

(not entirely sure if the intention of the director or Austin was to make us turned on by a bald crazy psycho but here we are. His "knife" is welcome to stab me any day another great intense sometimes frightening performance)

 

o3.) Once Upon A Time in Hollywood

 

(I love this movie too much to put it lower even though Austin is just a side character here. It's also easily my most watched movie of him. I also love the fact that he's so versatile. I mean look at these 3 totally different characters. He's so much more than just "a pretty face")

 

o4.) The Bikeriders

(good lord he's pretty in this movie it's almost absurd 🤣 I know I claimed the exact opposite right above but this movie is like a montage of him being gorgeous at all angles. It's a feat for the eyes and his beauty owns the screen completely sucks you in makes you stare at him like a needy idiot )

 

o5.) Masters of the Air

(he even makes sniffing on a letter so damn sexy 😻 I don't know what to say more. It's really hard to stay focus on his perfomance -or anything else- when he looks like this but overall I really enjoyed this show)

 

o6.) Dude

(more a cameo but he ripped me apart and his presence is felt during the whole movie even when he isn't visible 💔 also love long haired Austin sayin things like this so dreamy )

Was on vacation, but here I am. Better late than never, I guess😁

 

1. The Bikeriders (2023)

I almost died of tachycardia while watching it, because it was impossible to control my pulse by looking at him Even though I watched this movie for Austin, I liked the whole thing. A beautiful and sad movie about you either dying a rebel or continuing to live without being one. A kind of ode to the rebels.

2. Elvis (2022)

One of the few biopics that I liked, even very much. And I'd even say that this is the only biopic about the musician that I liked. This is entirely due to Austin💯 And yes, I had problems with my pulse while watching.

 

3. Dune: Part Two (2024)

There wasn't much of him, but he completely stole the show💯 One of the most memorable villains for sure.

4. Masters of the Air (2024)

Again, I watched for Austin, but I liked it overall. Loved his chemistry with Callum Turner. It's a pity that the show did not receive proper recognition.

5. Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)

His character made me very angry when he showed up at Cliff's house. Definitely memorable. This movie is must watch💯

6. The Dead Don't Die (2018)

Such a WTF movie (in a good way). There's not much Austin in it tho.

7. Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure (2011)

Omg, I watched it when I was a kid. I liked it. But I'm not going to rewatch it, so as not to destroy this warm feeling of nostalgia😅

On the watchlist: The Carrie Diaries (2013-2014), The Shannara Chronicles (2016-2017)

Travis Fimmel should belong in this wishful group too for obvious reason  It's kinda funny to me that Boyd already worked with Austin and Travis at least appears in the same Universe as Austin aka DUNE 😁

Kudos to The InSneider for reporting that Tom Holland and Austin Butler are set to play Indy 500 racing, drug-smuggling brothers in “American Speed.” For some the inclusion of Holland and Butler is more than enough, but not for me. Who is the director of this project? That’s what matters. Sneider doesn’t mention any filmmaker being attached yet.

 

Let's see if that happens. I remember rumors about a movie that Austin and Colin were supposed to star in, but it never became a reality...

And Danny Boyle again. Funny because after TRANCE I was thinking what the last (new) movie was I watched of him. It was indeed his "last" film Yesterday. Now I wonder what happened with this project after the strike since he doesn't have made a movie in years so it doesn't seem like he's occupied with other projects?

I think it was scrapped. I noticed that project had IMDB page earlier and then it disappeared. Pity, because I'd love a movie with Austin and Colin😩
