Thanks for the peaches! Do you believe - I actually went to the guy I'm getting my vegetables and fruits from to see if he already got some, but he said there hasn't been good ones at the market yet ... those pics look so delicious ...

Nice Recipe, Dave, I need to try it! Funny thing, I've done a similar one ( minus the Basil) with blueberries, but you need to cook it until it's well reduced and slimy :-)

LOL, I actually do believe you there. If I was to see my own pictures taken from someone else on here, that alone would entice me to go peach hunting Hopefully you'll get some good peaches headed your way soon

Ohh, sounds like u made a delicious blueberry compote Great, now I'm craving a snack here And yes, you need to try that cherry salsa on top of some pork chops or even chicken and salmon if u want, works great all 3 ways

No compote, Dave, it's rather a blueberry ketchup, it's awesome with grilled meat, no matter if pork, beef or lamb ... ah, I need to have a BBQ soon ... ... I'll def. try the Cherry Salsa ...

WEEK 5 - Sorry for the slight delay in posting, was busy all this past weekend with family, friends, and Father's Day. My-oh-my are the garden plants all taking off and flowering like mad. Tomatoes are getting bigger and more of them. Cucumbers are starting to finally grow and show along with the zucchinis and squash. And not sure why, but I'm especially fond of seeing the small bell peppers growing. Must of been the fact I almost lost them to snails Enjoy the pics folks

CarMELita - blueberry ketchup Interesting concoction there. Not only does it sound delicious on some savory meats but it would go great with my morning oatmeal or toast...or maybe some delicious, soft, fluffy pancakes When time and the weather permits, a BBQ is a must! Had one here this past Sunday actually Oh, and can't wait to hear how the cherry salsa went, enjoy

WEEK 6 - It just keeps growing, growing, and GROWING! We are finally starting to harvest some radishes here The zucchinis, squash, cucumbers, and pepper buds are now noticeably bigger to the point that the naked eye comes to it first rather then the sheer amount of leaves trying to covering them. And the tomatoes are now starting to color...tomato time is getting nearer and nearer Jennka

No more one or 2 plucks here and there. Squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, all are now clearly visible and growing at an exponential rate. And Jennka...that first ripe tomatoes were to die for Sweet & delicious to say the least

WEEK 8 - The harvesting continues! At this point I'm doing my best to keep the garden maintained - weeds, critter removal, and soil ph levels. But, I think I might remove the radishes and plant something more in demand with the family.

Thx J and I have to water everything daily. And for certain plants twice a day such as the cucumbers, squash, zucchini now that the heat has been picking up here. Thankfully it still feels pleasant here.

WEEK 9 (Final week) - Sorry for the long delay, I was to post this week about 2 weeks ago. The harvesting continues and everything is growing just right with hardly ANY pest issues or biological ones for that matter. As there is not much noticeable growth going on aside from the watermelon & cantaloupe this will be my last photo update this season. But hopefully I shall start sharing the winter plantation Thx to all those who have kept a steady eye on the progress of our little veggie garden
