Before I start this message I must acknowledge Pretty's post...good lord is that funny And now I'm strangely attracted to Leonardo DiCaprio

Welcome back JENNKA! I see you had a nice LONG holiday vacation, of course that thought goes out the window once your back eh?

As for me, I had a great time, spent about a nice week with the mother during the Christmas holiday. I knew it was going to be a nice week when our flight arrived earlier. I was actually shitting bricks a few days prior to our flight since there was a nasty snow storm hitting the area and flights were being cancelled left and right. Luckily it all cleared up by the day we had to fly out. I also knew it was going to be a good week due to the lasagna that was awaiting us at my mothers home...I still dream about that tomato, cheese and carb goodness to this day And my gosh Jennka, the present I received from my mother gave me a good laugh. She wrapped up a OLD blanket I use to sleep with as a kid Funny thing was...it was still fluffy and comfy as can be. I know exactly who will be using that blanket in the not too distant future I even managed one act of stupidity while I was there that didn't sit to well with Jen and the rest I assume. For some prior reference, I've been back at it with my workout routine for about the last 10 weeks now, need to get back in shape for myself and another obvious reason to come. So with that said I was adamant about my workout, trying to stick with my routine, yes, even while I was at my mothers. They had no REAL treadmill so I decided to run outside. Mind you, it was below freezing but still that wasn't deterring me. So with the same outfit I wear here as I run on my treadmill or outside, I put on a cotton shirt and my shorts as usual and stepped outside...GOOD LORD WAS THAT A BAD IDEA! By the end of my short run, my nuts were in my stomach Jen gave me a nice slap in the back as pain seems to be magnified when you cold and pretty much called me a "dumbass" to put it simply But heck, at least Cali cold will never deter me from a run after some Illinois cold So all and all, I had a great time with the mother this Christmas, that was pretty much my gift this year and I couldn't of asked for more

So how did the holidays go for you hun?

In the aftermath of the Civil War an unexplained outbreak of the walking dead claims the life of Edward Young’s wife while his son disappears. This sets him off on a harrowing journey into the plagued countryside. Facing off challenges not just from the ferocious undead but also from the living, will Edward find an exit to the grotesque caricature of what humanity has become? The War might be over but the fight has just begun.

My View: The movie is visually striking (including its animation!), nice score, and the storyline is kinda interesting for this genre

Press:

"Exit Humanity combines The Walking Dead & Old West" - Escapist Magazine

"...zombies and cowboys were a winning match." - Escapist Magazine

"...plenty of brutal zombie action inflicted by the living dead." - Greg Klymkiw of Canadian Film Corner

"A collision between Night of the Living Dead and Gettysburg." - Eric Shirey of Yahoo Movies

"...a stirring apocalyptic western." - Adam Lopez of Toronto After Dark

^ THIS!

I'm fairly impressed here with the trailer so far, and this coming from someone who isn't into the whole zombie movie bit of Hollywood or lower budget films.

Thx for the share Pretty, I shall keep my eye open for this one. I actually can't wait to see and hear more on it

Fav press line thus far...very appropriate!

^ Not sure if you did but it goes WAY BACK! We played as kids and first meet when we were around 7-8 years old. We lived in the same general area so that was a plus. My mother would also spend time with Jens parents and that's how the whole relationship started with both families So as you can see...I haven't been single in quite some time

Mhmm, I share your feeling of different with Christmas this year. Usually it's always with Jens family here as I have no huge family near. So to go out and just spend it with my mother sure was a different vibe but lovely nonetheless Glad to hear that everything went smoothly And my-oh-my...2 months in South America Get ready for some stories from him no doubt
