Good to have you around once again sir But I understand your fondness to visit Miranda first

Ah and it sounds like you have quite the great work environment. Heck, if they paid me with pork shoulder I'd be zipping away 12 hour greasy shifts without any disdain

And nice place amgio, love the floors. I'm such a sucker for hardwood floors and big windows for that oh-so wonderful natural lighting. Have you properly christened the flat yet sir?

That is ONE small plus of staying home for work at times, no one looking over my shoulder, well almost But heck as long as that work is completed eh?

LOL, I can't even think of what...wait, cant quietly sneak into the kitchen for a snack?

You see Pretty this is the trouble with time zones. We get this stuff far to early in the morning

This stuff needs to come with a warning. "Sufficient caffeine intake needed before being viewed" :morning:

^ HEY...I have first dibs here sir!

And as to your question katchy, I'm smitten over her looks, girl next-door vibe and I admire her for the fact that she isn’t trying to starve herself just to fit in that one size too small of a dress Heck, her bikini shots show girl has meat on the bone Now as far as the talent goes, I haven’t seen a lot of her work but the fact she won an Oscar must say something about the talent she poses in her acting abilities

As far as cooking goes, it's very difficult to grasp any REAL numbers as there are so many variables that come into play here that might not give a proper representation of a group, area, people. All I know is that people are consuming more calories then ever before due to the double digit increases in portion sizes over the last 20 years. Seems as if it would be a easy YES with cooking being a sport here with all the expanding waistlines around here

So more than the actual cooking, it seems that the actual sizes of the meals are more the problem.

I have noticed this very similar shift in Slovakia as well - the sizes in the restaurants are getting bigger and bigger. Sometimes I´m almost furious over it and demand a kids portion or at least a half-sized one (always with respect, of course, I burst out in anger at home lol). I simply can not eat the whole stuff, damn. And taking it home every time? Gets tiring.

But many people around me are like "that is great, finally a good deal of portion for me!" but when I see the huge amounts of food they eat, I´m getting sick instead of them. I´m definitely NOT into huge portions of food. Year ago I decreased my daily income of food in half and I feel much better.

Also, recently (and I have no idea why) I´m losing interest in meat food. When I´m cooking I always look up for receipts with vegetables in it, when I think about meat it makes my stomach weak. It´s weird. Maybe it´s the summer comming, everything looks so green and fresh and so eatable, and I have always loved vegetables and fruits. And maybe I´m just over-eaten with meat because before I cooked meat every week.

^ It's a global movement of bigger portion sizes nowadays. Seems as where ever subsides on crops or where technology is available to produce an abundance of food on the cheap do you see a corresponding in bigger serving sizes. That's what has been happening here in the USA from looking at charts, graphs and related numbers on the efficiency of food production. Just look up the subsidies we have here on agriculture and you will laugh at the sheer amounts of money spent on keeping food prices artificially low.

And good call on limiting calorie counts for the body. There are a few studies I have read about on how calorie restriction may help extend human longevity, if I find the links I shall share those papers ASAP, interesting findings to say the least. Oh, and now that we are talking portion sizes, as a general rule I just eat to be satisfied but not full to the point where I can't even manage to lift myself out of my own chair So I get you on that whole "feeling better" by limiting food portions, it works and simple to implement.

Hmm, interesting food cravings, especially the lack of eating beef/proteins. Maybe the body is doing that to intake what minerals and vitamins it lacks thus the cravings of fresh veggies and/or fruits? But heck, summer time does mean new foods coming our way so that might have something to do with it Eat up before the snow comes back!

So how has work been going hun?
