With the better burgers I finally went to "Shake Shack"- the east coast companion to "In n Out" after avoiding it for so long.   It is hyped by some as being the best of the better burgers on the east coast.  The burgers and fries were good but I really can't tell if it was better than  "Smashburger", "Bobby's Burger Palace", or "Five Guys".  They are all decent places to get fresh burgers.  "Steak N Shake signature" is the worst, and resembles wendy's.  The best for dollar value is probably Shake Shake  Maybe Five guys but it's been years since I last had it.

As far as fries go, Shake Shack had the best ones.  Shake Shack's fries are very crispy.  So overall it does seem that Shake Shack is the best fast food burger all things considered.

I haven't tried "In n Out" yet.

Were you keeping up to date on the NBA finals by chance? If yes, who were you rooting for? I would think Golden State because you are from Cali, but within States there can be rivalries between different cities or even the same city,

And of course, Cali has the Clippers and Lakers as well.

^ Yes I did and I was rooting for Golden State all the way since I can't stand the Cavaliers Bummer the Clippers didn't make it to the finals but they played as if they didn't want it towards the end
