It happens sometimes, unfortnately I’d even say often, when working for no-budget magazines that shoots get produced but never see the light of the day, it rarrely happens in the more commercial ones, where a certain amount of money is invested in each shoot by the magazine, and throwing the whole thing away would be a huge waste of money. When everybody’s doing it for free and you might even never have met them in person it’s a lot easier to just chuck a story out of the window. This is just one of those. We shot this last October, it’s actually just a tiny part of a shoot inspired by the whole Night Porter/ S&M vibe that was so big last FW, we shot 4 really beautiful girls and I thought having a boy too would be fun, I had worked with Taylor Cowan on a stundent’s project because he was a buddy of his, I loved his attitude and face, plus the student was one of my assistants at the time. He was supposed to get one look but we had lots of free time in between the girls and we had fun dressing him up, I had done no menswear shopping so we put him in a Moschino hat, a Vuitton corset, an Emporio Armani dress, a Comre For Breakfast top and even a porn-shop latex skirt, to top it all of I had a chopped wig my friend Marco Gabellini ( Milano’s wig guru) had given me ( for that Night Porter flashback feel) . I still love these pics so here’s their first official outing
