^I read that they are after Christopher Nolan now! Although that's probably just hyperbole...

That I'd be very interested to see, though quite honestly I'd be more than happy if Sam Mendes were to stay on for at least another couple. Evidently, Daniel Craig is signed up for two more movies as well, which is great. Recent gossip also seems to be citing a certain Mr. Cumberbatch as strong favourite to play the villain next time around - sounds like fun, but as big a fan as I am of Benedict, I'd probably go with Christian Bale or Tom Hardy in full-blown insanity mode if I had my ultimate pick for a future Bond baddie. A possible Nolan tie-in there?

I don't know about your screening Michael*, but in mine (and without revealing too much) the biggest cheer of the night came at a garage door reveal...

Ah yes, a very nice touch that...

...and Judi Dench's line about the ejector seat was greeted by a collective roar shortly afterwards! I have to say though, my personal favourite bit was Ben Whishaw's 'exploding pen' comeback.

I watched Skyfall a few days ago and, surprisingly, I quite liked it! Well, maybe except for Javier Bardem's villain who was slightly overdone imo. And I'm totally in love with the song by Adele

For those of you guys who are going, I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.

Seen it thrice. In theaters, mind you I will give them all my money. ALL OF IT!

I may be biased since I didn't care for any of the Brosnan movies bar 'Goldeneye', but for my money Craig is easily the best Bond since Connery.

Random (and possibly tedious) thought regarding 'Skyfall' and indeed, modern movies in general. Has anyone other than Judi Dench played the same character before and after a franchise reboot? I know Michael Gough was Alfred in the Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher versions of Batman, but I was never fully clear on whether they were sequels, reboots or just set in a parallel universe obsessed with neon lighting.

Usually action-movies arent' really my thing, but this was EPIC

Also- all the images we're really 'beautiful' too look at. At the edge of my seat for two hours..

One tiny thing though

The whole movie being very exciting in general, did anyone else feel the 'ending' in Church a bit predictable/boring? Like the whole thing was done so well and then it ends like
this

I guess it's like any continuing action franchise in that there's a certain inevitability about the ending. You know Bond is eventually coming back for another movie, therefore you also know that whatever scrapes he gets himself into, he'll be alright in the end.
