I'm not familiar with her, but I googled her and read that she is 20 years younger than her husband, so she must have been born in the late 1980s. I also found out that one of her first shoots was for Russian Vogue, and that edition only started publishing in the late 1990s.

So it's definitely not her in that ad

Romana Pecnerova is a name I had also considered, but the cover model has never been identified. There are several things that suggest two different but very similar models who covered a long period of time, from the 70s to the 90s.

I'm pretty sure that's her name. This most recent photo (little pic that I posted) led to this page – https://radaris.com/p/Romana/Pecnerova/, but there are no photos there anymore.

The Facebook post convinced me that it’s her.

I don't think that the Gioia cover model could have worked in the 1970s; her Gioia covers are from 1992. Romana Pecnerova was 26 at that time, so it could be her.

To work in the 1970s, a model must have been born in the late 1950s at the latest. Also, in these missparker scans from 1988, she looks very young:
