Comeback single from New Young Pony Club, now apparently shortened to NYPC.

Also, new M.I.A. song called Charmless Man Come Walk With Me

Didn't really like it at first, but it's growing on me.

Looking forward to the N&F album greatly.

Not altogether sure about the MIA one as yet, perhaps it'll prove to be a grower for me too. You're not kidding about the Blur thing though, I was expecting the 'Nanana' bit to kick in at any moment.

Here's another one I really rather like at the moment, from a member of Melody's Echo Chamber gone solo. Produced by Tame Impala's Kevin Parker.

That new Arcade Fire single and video in full. I wonder if the director has played Saints Row?

^It’s pretty damn long and considerably more electro-tinged than I would have imagined, but I do like the ’trade-off’ vocals from Regine and Win.

Love this one. Looks like I may have to learn how to spell 'Waxahatchee', instead of just copying and pasting it, as I did there.

Rather interesting line-up on the Jools Holland show for its first week back. Here's Kings of Leon and Kanye West...

...And here's Lorde, and my favourite of the evening, Drenge.

You've seen her before though right?

Is she still touring with Marika Hackman?

Yeah, I saw her about 18 months ago when she was touring the last album. Easily one of my top 10 gigs of all time.

A guy called Nick Mulvey is supporting this time around, so I'm guessing that means no Marika. Perhaps unsurprisingly, he's a singer/songwriter of the alt-folk variety, though I can't claim to be familiar with his work.
