That brain picture reminds me of a couple of popular "current news" books that were about the "Conservative Brain" "Political Brain" "Liberal Brain".
The Liberal one is a pretty accurate depiction of the media structure and the typical pattern of mental conditioning. I hope that one day one will do a money flow analysis as to how this wind-up is disseminated but I'm not counting on it. The conservative one is the usual talking points that are repeated nonstop until they become reflexive.
