I've read that some models that aren't mid to upper tier do that to make money and in most cases it's way more than they do modeling.

IG is a slippery slope..... some models we all like might have not been signed to modeling agencies without IG, gotta take the good with the bad.

^^It's likely that they aren't serious models anyway and either use it to promote their social lives and/or some other job that hinges on being a "hot girl".
