Why did Beyonce get the SI cover in 2007? Was it her team that pushed it or did SI go after her? I don't even understand why she would want it, she seems wayyy bigger than the magazine itself.

Was it super shocking when the cover revealed and it was Beyonce, or did people see it coming?

To add to my tirade on the other page:

Guys you want another great way to know what models are going to be in the US edition. When 5 days before the reveal a model whose worked for Sports Illustrated South Africa gets a twitter account and an offcial website. It could be a coincidence but I am think it's NOT. Also, that might not be her but if it is.

I am just saying its super obvious SI but twitter accounts to figure if the model is in or out. If any model was a contender, you should make it look less obvious before the "BiG Reveal"

Also, Why Jimmy Kimmel? I thought David Letterman always announced the girls. I guess they didn't want to be in New York. It takes to long to get to the Vegas after party.

This past Spring Lauren was on-stay in New York. However, the end of summer she went back to London. Wilhelmina up until recently had her Direct Book which means she wasn't in the US. The site says she is in New York and she has that as her main contact. For years, her mother was Star Models in Johannesberg. She left them before they were bought out by Boss Models. Maybe Wilhelmina is now her mother agency.

I think the twitter is fake but this site and this info is very telling.
