well now we're just speculating...  people were not very happy with the Beyonce cover so that would be sure to upset them around here.

hannah davis wasn't rookie of the year.  not that it matters.  nina agdal may very well follow anne v, melissa haro, esti ginzburg, and chrissy teigen as rookies of the year who haven't yet gotten / may never get the cover.

Either way she made the cover along with Kate and SI made a point to point out who she was on the cover, and if the trend follows we'll be seeing her on the cover sooner then later.

Kate could get a triple cover but I'm not sure if they have the guts to do it. The times have changed since Elle Macpherson's days. I think people are quicker to want someone new.

However, I think Kate is the only one who could do three SI covers (and this isn't just coming from a biased place ). She had an immediate impact, SI can completely claim her as their own (Victoria's Secret sure didn't launch her career) and they want it to matter when they say so and so had the most covers etc. Out of the current crop Kate is one of the only ones if not the only one who is well on her way to the status of an SI icon.

And selfishly I of course hope she'll make the cover because I think that otherwise she might move on. I'm hoping she'll be like Petra Nemcova but she might be more like Brooklyn etc.

^ no they don't care about seniority. I do think (also pray&hope) that her new job as coach in The Face will help her go more mainstream

As for Hannah, let's all cut the BS ... We know she won ROTY and that Bock winning was fixed. I'm sure Hannah will score the cover eventually, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if she does it before Anne V & Nina.

However as for 2014 right now my money is on Kate again. SI clearly wants her to be their new Elle and getting three covers in a row makes sense for them. Not gonna lie tho, I would love to see Hannah&Kate together getting it

No no no, they put Kate in a parka because she was freezing to death between the shot setups. Once Kate put it on, and the very first picture they snapped (it was a test shot) was used for the cover. After about 30 seconds she took the parka off and jumped into a warm pool to continuing shooting.

And don't compare the two woman lol Not everyone needs to be a clone of one another.

Kate will inevitably dance her way to another cover. Deal with it.

Slowen (and all others in the same category) just get the cojones to call her the F-word already that way you can move along. Kate and Elle might share the commonality of being SI girls but to a large extent that's about it! I really am tired of people shooting down Kate over her size and career and always doubting the cover when, what happens people...she lands another f'in cover! Whatever is happening with Kate, SI and the general public who read said material is working thus far to give her not 1 but 2 covers with SI, will there be a 3rd cover, odds speculate it to a big YES considering she still holds strong relativity in today’s public eye and the readers of SI to be more specific.

With all that said I honestly do hope she gets a third cover now since I guess "3rd times the charm" to shut certain people up about Kate’s undeniable success...until the F-word is swung around again as a lame tactic to shadow her obvious success with SI and popularity as a whole.
