As much as I would love to see Brooklyn I don't think it's happening other than the All-stars thing.
According to Mj Day on twitter there is a Promo of SI Swim 2014 on the inside of the Vanity Fair Feb Issue.

Bar Refaeli and Brooklyn Decker* are hosting a Lace & Leather party Pre-Super Bowl in NYC, Jan 31st, I can't think of any company that would pair them together other than SI so I wonder if it's related to the magazine or not

Sports Illustrated has taken Kate Upton to a place few have gone before — space.
We’re told the voluptuous blond model, who graced the cover of SI’s 2012 and 2013 Swimsuit issues, was photographed in a bikini in “zero gravity space” for this year’s 50th anniversary issue.
Sources tell us Upton was shot in a zero-gravity chamber in a silver swimsuit with weightless ample bosom and big hair that made her “look like something out of ‘Barbarella.’ ”
Last year, when Upton was photographed for SI in Antarctica, Jimmy Fallon joked with the beauty that her next cover should be shot in space. “Think about this; there’s no gravity,” he quipped.
We also hear SI has photographed a series of legends to celebrate the issue’s 50th anniversary — Christie Brinkley, who appeared on three covers, from 1979 to 1981, and Tyra Banks, Carol Alt and Bar Refaeli.
It’s unclear who will be 2014’s cover star, as we’re told editors are still sifting through images of babes in bikinis to make a final decision. The issue hits newsstands Feb. 11. SI declined to comment.

^^^ Sounds awesome to me! Jimmy Fallon is a genius and he just started following MJ Day on twitter. I wonder if they really went to space or did something like that plane that dives and simulates zero gravity.

I hope this "space shot" stuff with Kate does not make the cover. I'm not a big fan of the idea. It seems way too gimmicky.
Then again, the over-the-top ridiculous Photoshop jobs in the photos of recent years have turned beautiful women into something that resembles aliens. So, I guess a photoshoot in "fake simulated space" is the logical next step. 
Just show us non-Photoshopped great photos of beautiful models, MJ Day & company. Is that really too much to ask?
I really, really, really hope they give us that this year, because the lineup of models sounds amazing. Don't ruin it, SI.
My guess is SI purchased time on a plane like in the below video which is also fittingly called the "vomit comet" at times due to the nausea some suffer with such plane maneuvers

I think at this point everyone knows Kate will be on the cover again anyway. It's just a matter of where was the shot taken and if she'll be alone or not, I'm going to say it will be another solo cover.
But let's the silver lining here, now we have a confirmed release date so yay for that
