^ Yes, the love thing between Tauriel and Kili was the biggest downside for me too. A Dwarf and an Elf? I don't think Tolkien would ever have imagined something like that ![]()
About Legolas face I didn't noticed anything really, but a friend find something strange on him, and even asked if it was played by the same actor as before ![]()
Besides the "details" though it's a great movie.
Now another year-long wait for the next one! ![]()

^ And if he ever did write love between a Dwarf and Elf it wouldn't have been so cheesy and laughable. ![]()
I still prefer the friendship of Gimli and Legolas more than the love between a Dwarf and Elf; least it made sense as to why they became friends and wasn't so forced.
I'm excited too! Especially because Andy Serkis has promised a battle bigger than any we saw in the LOtR trilogy, so it better be huge because the Battle of the Pelennor Fields was epic. ![]()

Well, the friendship between Legolas and Gimli is in the books, and Tolkien uses it as a symbolic closure for the enmity between Elves and Dwarves.
Really? That's a must see then! The Pelennor Fields was indeed epic. The Battle of the Five Armies should be epic too ![]()
