I have heard "experts" saying she has a sure win... so, here's a fair question: how trustworthy are the "experts" in the media? My guess is often times: not so much. 😅

The "experts" I heard said that Disney didn't take all measures to properly fire her (she learned about it on... social media. Not very classy and quite borderline in terms of legality.

I guess we'll see what the court has to say in the end (and I hope Disney loses).

Well it's not like I will be sad if Disney loses money.

But this case has implications far beyond Disney.

The puritan woke mobs are mad because of this game... and the game is a massive success!

I love it

Which implications?

My understanding is that Kathleen Kennedy and her woke goons didn't respect the basic laws.

BTW, there won't be many more cases like her. Modern Hollywood is full of neo-McCarthyism (the woke version). All actors have to bend the knee to the far left lunacies... and most of them do. The compliance is high in Hollywood (the ESG terror has the power).

Larian Studios supposedly not interested in doing Baldur's Gate 4.

Apparently they did not enjoy the process of working together with Hasbro/WotC and their next game will be their very own thing.

Henry Cavill's Argylle bombed pretty bad and it's the first of a trilogy...

He was often talked about as a possible replacement for Bond (esp. due to A Man for Uncle).  His hairline looks pretty bad these days.

Argylle - Wikipedia

Daniell Craig wasn't a very good Bond imho.

He was the only one who made the characters actions tolerable for me (especially when it comes to women). I couldn't go through any other Bond movie without bleeding ears because of the dumb sexists comments of this character.

He's not James Bond if he's not 'sexist'

James Bond is (was..) a male power-fantasy, meant to be superficial.

By turning him into a troubled character (Daniel Craig films) the essence of what he once was is lost-.

For me I only liked Goldeneye and Casino Royale.  I think Pierce was a good James Bond but his films were a let-down due to quality issues.  Daniel Craig is a good actor but IMHO miscast from the start.

Henry Cavil looks the part but doesn't have the charisma for it imho.

^People and critics seemed to like this "modern" take on Bond. So it looks like you're in the minority here. The next Bond might be different but in no world sexist ever again. Those times are over. If a character wants to live on in other times he or she has to adapt. Simple as that. If that's always a good thing might be another question. Maybe some things from the past should just stay in the past.

Most of the best Bond films are still the Sean Connery ones.

My favorite three would be Thunderball, From Russia With Love and Dr. No. In that order.

Of the subsequent ones, I didn't really care much for most of the Roger Moore era. I did like The Living Daylights (first of the Timothy Dalton ones) and Goldeneye (first of the Pierce Brosnan ones). I think Daniel Craig only made one good one, Skyfall.

Critics don't represent people lol. A lot of them belong to big media companies (some of them being owned by movie companies... not very objective)

Many (many) people have been hating "modern takes" in many movies. For example, the Marvel movies, Star Wars, Star Trek, etc.

Most "modern takes" are divisive. But people resist and will resist. Even if the Hollywood Ogre and its woke cult is big.

Because people hope. They hope for less division, less woke BS, more quality, more unity.

I liked Pierce Brosnan movies a lot. Roger Moore and Sean Connery as well.

Henry Cavill is good, he might be too kind for the role, but he's a good actor so it could pull it off.

Connery is still the character in my mind. Has the most good to great Bond films.

I really only like Goldeneye from Brosnan's run.

Does money represent the people? Craigs movies are maybe not the most successful when it comes to inflation but they still made tons of money.
