David Bowie dies of cancer aged 69: http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-35278872

Went on a binge on the website Blind Gossip...
Thought you all might be interested in this May 2015 story:
Quote[Blind Gossip] This model has been front and center in Cannes this week. She doesn’t have to ask anyone to take her photo. Everyone knows who she is.
However, she’s not there for a photo shoot. She’s not there to promote a film. She doesn’t really even act. So what’s she doing there? Fielding offers to spend the night with someone! Her asking price? $500k. She can make more in one night on a yacht than she can in a month or two of modeling!
No, it’s not Gisele Bundchen.
Popular guess in the comments: Miranda Kerr

^ Miranda does seem like someone who would do something like that but considering she is one of the highest paid models in the world I am kinda skeptical.

^ I agree. That was my first thought. But then I read many more blind items about this type of thing taking place - I don't think it's as uncommon as you'd think.
Chrissy Teigen talked about it in an interview once - that models can make good money doing this. The more I think about it, I guess it does make sense. Dubai and Cannes seem to be the hot spots for this to take place. I know Kim K., Kendall, and Gigi have been "special guests" at parties for men in Dubai before (escorting not confirmed).

QuoteTyra Banks [And Erik Asla] Welcomes Son York
Tyra Banks is a mom! The former supermodel and beauty entrepreneur and boyfriend, Norwegian photographer Erik Asla, have welcomed a son, York Banks Asla, via surrogate, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.
“We are so excited for our new baby boy bundle of joy. The journey to now has not been an easy process, as I’ve shared before. But there was a beautiful bright light at the end of the tunnel for me and his father, Erik,” she tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement.
“As I gaze into the beautiful eyes of my son, I think about all the people who struggle with fertility or carrying a child and continue to pray for them every day. My hopes and dreams are filled with well wishes that they get to feel what my little treasure, York Banks Asla, feels like in my arms.”
The new mom announced the arrival of her baby boy on Instagram, alongside a photo of a newborn hospital hat. “The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here,” Banks, 42, writes. “He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin.”
She adds, “As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.”
Banks previously opened up about her infertility struggles, revealing that she had undergone IVF procedures in hopes of conceiving.
“When I turned 40, the one thing I was not happy about is that I did not have kids,” she told PEOPLE. “When you’re like, ‘Okay, I’m just going to do it,’ then it’s not so easy as you get older.”

QuoteVictoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio ate 1,200 calories a day for three months after giving birth
'I couldn’t do that again,' says Ambrosio

QuoteAs a former fashion model, what are your thoughts on the new generation of models such as Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, who are more famous for their social media presence than their runway experience?
No one has proven yet that numbers of followers translates to revenue. So it is frustrating. I know a lot of people -- legitimate fashion people -- can’t stand it. Hate it that these, you know, social media stars are now the supermodels in fashion. They are not true supermodels. And the thing is, I have always looked to Vogue magazine to lead the way, not be a follower. I rely on Vogue to set the standard, not follow what everybody else is doing. So I have been disappointed that fashion magazines have been supporting this trend of social media stars to set our style standards. But it will change; fashion always does.

How stupid are these (VS models) women?

Maybe some of them, but not Ale. She has always seemed like a smart businesswoman to me. Fwiw, Ale is my fave VS girl now.

Ale is too. Starving herself for a fashion show is stupid. Especially when you have a baby to take care of.
Who cares if she is not walking? I will never understand these models putting their "body" first to prove they can walk in lingerie 3 months after they give birth. It's selfish and ridiculous on so many levels.
I just hope Candice And Behati are not going to do that but I doubt it ![]()
