I find David Goggins to be annoying and so much so that I've almost never bothered to watch/read his content (outside to listening a one-hour summary of his book) even when it's waved in front of me: He has appeared in the media over the past two years (TV, internet, radio, youtube, etc.) as the "toughest man alive"- seems to be a manufactured celebrity that appeared out of "thin-air".
He seems to be a professional bragger (motivational speaker) and gives advice that stems his extreme masochism with long-distance running and his military service.
Nice, but not helpful to most of us and not healthy behavior. What use is it to be a loon that runs 100 mile races and does pull ups until they get injuries?

I understand that most of the dialog he gave at Roy’s end was pure Rutger.
I remember seeing photos of her getting pulled by a tall dude a while ago. He was definitely not a gay like this fellow might be

Not long ago he voiced a game called "the observer" which was pretty interesting in concept.
For me he's the antagonist of my most favorite sci-fi movie ever.... by his own admission it was also his favorite role.

Yeah, the original scripted speech was apparently intended to be a lot longer and more grandiose, but Ridley Scott allowed Rutger to edit it down to just 50 seconds, and then add the "tears in rain" part as an ad-lib.

That one must have passed me by at the time, but the summary I've read online makes it sound kind of great, honestly. I wouldn't mind tracking it down.
For sure though, I really think Roy Batty's influence could be felt in pretty much every depiction of replicants, androids (and suchlike) that followed.

I didn't remember he was in Ladyhawke. I saw this movie as a kid. Really good movie as well.
