Joss Whedon comes out looking very badly out of that recent THR piece.

Essentially the entire cast of Justice League hated him. Ben Affleck supposedly almost punched him and tried to convince the rest of the cast to just quit.

He threatened Gal Gadot so she and Patty Jenkins had to go to the WB suits to reel in his behavior.

The dude honestly sounds like he is deranged based on that piece. It's weird, I really used to like him, I liked Buffy a lot and I loved Firefly. I never thought those were made by such an abusive person. Though it did sound more like case of a guy whose success went to his head, and then some.

What the article describes is pretty much the definition of a toxic workplace, and how any investigation could end in them finding nothing wrong simply beggars belief.

Incidentally, it was only recently that I heard about Affleck relapsing during the making of Justice League, and that being the main reason that he stepped away from playing Batman. I don't blame him because the drama behind the scenes sounds like an absolute nightmare.

I think that may have been what started Joss’s behind the camera antics and behaviors. 
 

I’m trying to not let them tarnish the like  of the shows and movies we do like of his.
 

I do feel for all those actresses and women who got that negative attention.
