He is a psychological counselor by profession. I think it might be his professional voice (monotone and non-judgemental). However if you watch his videos he is actually quite judgemental and has a lot of dry humor. Somehow the monotone voice and the humor works : D

Yes, but I had funny teachers. And I hope have it. A lot of people can be teacher but boring, humilliant, unadaptative, not all people like all people.
