Having seen "Death Wish", she was actually decent.
I mean, no one would think she's Meryl Streep, but by the standards of a model-turned-actress in one of her first roles, she did more than okay.
Which isn't hugely surprising. I remember that she was also one of the few models who convinced in her movie homage (she did a scene from "Blade Runner") in Love Advent.
