I had completely forgotten she was with Leonardo!

Has Vogue USA come out yet -- the September edition?  If not, why not Gisele????

nope. It will probably be some lame celeb but you never know with Gisele....

Vogue just retweeted Mario Testino's post about Gisele today

I'm still holding out for Gisele on the September issue of Vogue USA .  Honestly, she's the only the one that makes sense to me!

She hasn't been on the Vogue US cover forever! And why put a Supermodel when you can put some celebrity or reality show star...really, the times we live in scare me. I so wish it was the 90s.

Yeah you're probably right. but she was on the cover in 2004 and then not again until 2008. Same amount of time as her cover in 2010 to 2014. I have hope she can still get a US Vogue cover.

Posting the bits about Leo & Gisele only

Nino Muñoz on three big turning points in his career, his first shoot with Gisele, and the importance of having a great team

The magazine Up by Forbes recently profiled entertainment, portrait, and fashion photographer Nino Muñoz for its latest cover story. In his Q&A with editor Diana-Florina Cosmin, Nino touches on everything from three assignments that will stay with him forever to his early days riding his bike around New York City and shooting photos…

How difficult was it to make the switch between New York and Hollywood, and how did that happen?

Both shooting fashion photography and working in Hollywood happened really organically for me. For instance, the first Hollywood star I photographed was Leonardo DiCaprio. We were already friends, and one day he asked me if I would photograph him for publicity images for the movie Gangs of New York. The next day, I was on a private jetwith Leo flying to L.A., where I spent the weekend photographing him.

As a fashion and celebrity photographer, I just go with where the work takes me. One minute, I’m in New York, the next I’m in L.A., then I’m flying to Europe, and then I get a job in South America. I never think of things as permanent, and I always go with the flow. The camera leads the way.

One of your first professional assignments was shooting a fashion story for Vogue, with Gisele Bündchen. How did you go from young aspiring photographer to securing such an enviable job?

Gisele and I were already friends at the time we did the Vogue story together. She saw something in me, and she believed in me as a photographer.

At the beginning, I used to do a lot of reportage photography in New York City. I would grab my camera and ride around on my BMX bicycle and photograph people, so it felt natural to photograph Gisele.

Still, it was very scary because suddenly I was being flown to Paris to do a shoot for British Vogue. I thought, “How am I getting away with this? I’m just a guy who photographs people on the street.” I found confidence within by telling myself that it’s all the same thing; there’s no difference between photographing Gisele in Paris or someone I see on a street in New York.

Looking back on your career, what were the three moments that you would consider your big breaks?

Number 1: When Katie Grand, who was the editor of Pop magazine at the time, asked me to do a story on up-and-coming artists in New York City.
Number 2:  When I shot Gisele for British Vogue.
Number 3: When Wallpaper magazine sent me to do an international reportage shoot with local people in three different countries, including Greece, Chile, and Brazil.
And I have a number 4, because it all happened at the same time: Arena magazine started booking me to shoot covers. I had seven or eight covers in one year—including Leo DiCaprio, Tom CruiseBeyonceDaniel Craig,Kanye WestKeira Knightley, and Gisele.

^True about a solo cover.  I wasn't expecting Vogue to go the multi-model route again.  Maybe they think none of the newer models can sell on a solo cover?  In any case, I'm still pulling for a U.S. Vogue solo cover with Gisele!

Of course I also want her to get a US solo Vogue, i think, at her level, she can't really share a cover with another model.

She could share a cover with some male model/actor? Like the Vogues with Clooney, Neymar, etc, but no other girl can outshine Gisele on a cover that's why they wouldnt put her.

The Vogue cover she shared with Daria and Natalia was so gorgeous, but she was still in her early days of modelling. Today she is a mother, a businesswoman and on top of her game, so I dont see her sharing a Vogue cover unless it's some Supers cover and she is with Naomi, Linda etc

^I totally agree with you; Gisele is too big to share a cover unless it's with a male star or another super.  Gisele is at an interesting crossroads, and I do believe she is the only model on the U.S. market scene that would be a big seller to both the younger and older fashion crowd.

I remember in 2005 she had the most requested hair and apparently still does according to Elle Magazine

HOW TO GET GISELE'S GORGEOUS, WAVY HAIR We surveyed the top 100 salons across the country to bring you ELLE's annual report of the most requested cuts and colors. Here, how to make the winning looks your own.

Winner: Gisele Bündchen

Over the past eight years of ELLE polls, Gisele Bündchen has consistently ranked as a top finisher. And now that early adopters of the lob (Daria Werbowy, Jessica Alba) are growing out their hair, long layers are more popular than ever. Bündchen's stylist, Harry Josh, cuts a few short pieces for a "little bit of face framing" but keeps the rest "long, with thin, tapered ends." In Dallas, hairstylist Kimberly Crawford of Osgood-O'Neil salon says women love the look because "the drapey layers fall into each other for a glamorous yet versatile style."

What happened with Sejaa? I haven't seen anything new for Sejaa for quite a long time. I loved the promotional videos when Sejaa launched and I would love see something similar again

Sejaa.com takes you to her website. Last I read on Forbes was Sheseido was interested in buying it...

she never promotes her sandals or skincare, only her lingerie. The sandals have enough success by now to not need promotion so I think she mainly focuses on GB Intimates now. I also wonder about Sejaa...It is/was her brand 100% unlike her other brands. (Ipanema being owned by Grendene & GB Intimates being owned by HOPE Lingerie).

OK, I'm putting my money on Vogue Italia's 50th Anniversary cover to feature Gisele and a large group of models on the October cover.    And of course the September cover is still up for grabs!

^ ah that would be heaven. I guess they can go two ways, Meisel's new faves vs. his muses. Hopefully the latter for an anniversary issue.

True, I haven't realized that she doesn't promote Ipanema anymore! I wish she was still attending Ipanema photo calls

And Tbh it's wierd that sejaa's website redirects to Gisele's page, she has probably cancelled it
