thanks dear! loved the interview! ![]()

I loved it too. She is so real compared to some other sugar coated models.
"I realized that if people only know me for the things that are said in the media, would have no real notion of who I really am."
I am so appalled by how stupid, out of context and misconstrued her words become. I know it's the Internet but I actually stop and question the intelligence of people! One thing positive I have learned from being a Gisele fan is how nasty and inaccurate gossip is. I wish more people questioned what they read. ![]()

I know its an anomaly to me why her every single word is dissected or taken so seriously.
I think its definitely the media's fault. How they portray her. All they ever do is talk about her "perfect" life (gisele doesn't), or how rich she is, which alone doesn't sit well with people. They can never come up with anything clever with her. They never once posted her Self Service article, which was amazing and had new info, even I learned a few new things.
All they do is rehash the same old same old. Her perfect life, her riches, her old comments, etc. I would probably hate her too, if I only relied on gossip rags. They're so biased against her its not even funny!
In Brazil the media is positive to her and they love her there. They report about how professional, kind, down to earth, simple etc etc she is.
American vs. Brazilian media regarding Gisele is like night and day.

^ the self service interview was excellent. I noticed that too: it hardly got covered at all because it revealed a humble, grounded woman who raised herself from the age of 14 in an extreme fashion world environment. Not a single person except David Gandy has had a bad thing to say about her in any interview I have read until today.

I wish all the nice things people say about her would get more cover

Marlon,Noah Mills and many other models have expressed how much they loved working with her...the only other models besides Gisele, ive ever heard so much fawning over from the industry is Christy Turlington and Kate Moss.
Does it get talked about?
No. ![]()
Media is against her. Heck when she does charity you're lucky to see it past a fan blog or forum. Ugh.
I noticed the media began picking on her more after she got with Tom.
he better treat her good! ![]()
Im so appalled by them. Just recently they took a quote from when she was 23 talking about not training for her role in Taxi. And twisted it every which way they can into her not taking classes for her body. Like she was bragging she doesn't train for her body. She was talking about a damn movie role, from 10 years ago. Theyre pathetic.
I feel like only her fans read her actual interviews. While everyone else reads headlines about her interviews. Which are two completely different things.
I don't think the media is against her. It's nothing personal. It's all about the story with them.

I think the media could be more responsible with their journalism. I know they are tabloids but the information is falsified and diluted. Like Michelabella said- they just repeat the same quotes again and again. More than the media, blog sites tend to make things personal. I have read such nasty comments from people. That's where I just think people have to be incredibly daft to believe everything that gets written. When she got with Tom she was more than just a VS model (for the masses- she's always been more for her fans) and I resented him for a while for that! Especially with the Bridget stuff. It's not like they were having an affair! lol.

Totally agree on the discussion about the media vs Gisele. Well said.

Toni Garrn mentions Gisele to British Vogue
And, while some would feel threatened by her boyfriend's many supermodel ex-girlfriends - from her Victoria's Secret colleague Erin Heatherton to Israeli beauty Bar Refaeli - Garrn is self-aware and gracious enough to be unaffected by the spectre of DiCaprio's most famous former love.
"The ultimate Angel? It has to be Gisele," she smiled. "I loved seeing Gisele with wings. I loved seeing her strut right down the runway, it was always super powerful."

As Gisele fans we need to help her husband Tom!!! (Y)
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is a man who has it all. He’s one of the best players to ever play his position, he’s won three NFL Super Bowls and earned many individual awards, and he’s married to supermodel Gisele Bundchen. What Brady doesn’t have is the ability to get high fives from his teammates on the sideline during games. Brady has been left hanging by many Patriots throughout the season, which has led to a parody PSA video asking for people to high-five the quarterback.

ahhahaaa
still wonder why none high-fived him ![]()

I think these little moments caught on film are just quick spur of the moment snapshots while the men's adrenaline is running high, they probably don't even notice TB's hand.
but its fun.
You can have my high five Tom ![]()

haha same here! ![]()

Although I'm really weary of gossip sites (I know I really shouldn't even go on them given how vile they are) I read this post about G on lainey gossip and it sums up what I think of angry internet people!
There are some celebrity mothers that just piss other moms off – Gwyneth comes to mind, of course (is an organic lemonade stand that outrageous? It’s kind of standard farmers market fare these days), and Angelina is another. Apparently allowing your daughter to wear pants and short hair is something other moms frown upon.
Add Gisele to that list. It started when she became a stepmom – many thought she overstepped her duties with little Jack (Tom Brady’s son with Bridget Moynahan), because the “evil stepmother” narrative isfun, no? So much more interesting than boring (and peaceful) co-parenting. Especially when she’s a supermodel.
And then she had her own children, and her comments about breastfeeding (which she tried to clarify), her natural childbirth and, let’s be real, her “post-baby” body really pissed people off.
So she actually glows when she’s pregnant and gives birth in a tub and breastfeeds while getting her hair and makeup done for work – like she showed us here: (instagram)
Some argued that she was presenting an unrealistic picture of a breastfeeding mother. Unrealistic for us yes, but probably just a regular day at work for her.
Whatever she does, the inevitable, “Who does she think she is?” outrage comes out. Moms have united with pitchforks and torches over the latest photo of her in Costa Rica with daughter Vivian. They are on an ATV and not wearing helmets. We don’t know anything else: how fast they were going, how far they traveled, what the path or road conditions were like, what the local customs are. But it’s Gisele! She’s obviously the most awful horrible irresponsible parent ever! Because remember that time she said breastfeeding should be a law? Who does she think she is?!
It’s sanctimony at its most tiresome. And now it’s been reversed on her. Believe it or not, Gisele knows her kids as well as you or I know our kids. She knows if Vivian is squirmy, or if she’s all drowsy after a nap, or if she’s safely strapped in her carrier. We can all tsk tsk over helmets but the gruesome, alarmist “what if” situations in the comments are ridiculous. North American parents are particularly obsessed with safety and there is not one issue (circumcision, allergies, vaccines, sleep training, Beyonce carrying Blue Ivy onto a yacht while wearing heels) that doesn’t inspire a virtual deathmatch on the mommy message boards. Isn’t it more fun when there’s a common target for all of our pent-up rage? And we can say, “She may be a supermodel, but she’s no supermom!”
If Jessica Simpson did this with Ace, I think there’d be a lot less foaming at the mouth and a lot more, “Isn’t this cute! Love her!” Moms have decided Jessica is relatable: she diets (for millions of dollars) and gets pregnant by oopsies and goes on date nights. She’s not in foreign country exposing her daughter to the sun’s death rays and riding around without a rear-facing 5-point harness car seat –while wearing a bikini, no less! The nerve of that woman.

Lainey stole the thoughts right out of my brain. Couldnt agree more with the last part...and shes also correct of when it all began.
Nice to see a blogger finally sees shes one of the most damned if you do, damned if you dont celebs ever.
Its funny when I read other models interviews or see their instagram posts, I always think holy sh*t if gisele said or did that...it would be on cnn news.
The press just doesn't stalk those other models like they do Gisele.
Also to note; Tom drove the atv with Vivian at 3 months and it did not cause some outrage...
Its so stupid, her hair was not even blowing backwards. That shows she uses it ala a golf cart to get from point A to point B on her private beach. Not some joy ride ![]()
Im thinking Gisele needs to hire new PR. in fact not sure if she even has a pr team. In 2008 she told V magazine she does not have PR. just an agent. Im beginning to think thats a big mistake...

Love it, finally someone who defends her. And I totally agree with you in everything, michelabella.

Add me! Agree with Michele, she needs a good/new PR team.
