Charlie Brooker winning was a surprise but a really, really brilliant surprise. Great to see Riz Ahmed's career seemingly going from strength to strength too.

When I see someone get a chance with good material (like Riz, among others), I hope they continue to get similar opportunities. And that's a mostly selfish hope so I can enjoy more good shows/movies etc.

This years Emmys should be good. A lot of good shows are going to eligible for the awards again.

It's the first time in a while HBO doesn't get the most nominations. It's probably not a fair comparison since Netflix has so many shows, but it's something new.
I was pleased with a number of nominations for shows/actors I like.
