According to WWD, the Adrienne Vittadini show on February 16, 2011 New York Fashion Week at The Box at Lincoln Center will include Carol Alt, Pat Cleveland, Roshumba, Irina Pantaeva, Carmen Dell’Orefice and Frederique van der Wal. They will model two looks each in the show.

Definitely. She has such big, solid curves - it's like her body was carved out of solid oak, then polished smooth. And she really knows how to use it to pose and create atmosphere

I was just thinking: why didn't Frederique ever do SI? She'd have been fantastic in it, and even the core SI demographic (the ones who buy SI the rest of the year when it's not the swimsuit issue) would have loved her body. Can't understand it.

That's my reaction too! But in Frederique's heyday, VS and SI hadn't started trading girls yet. Her frequent VS costar Jill Goodacre didn't do SI either. There was only Stephanie, who had come from SI. The floodgates opened after that, and it became common: Daniela, Rebecca, Yasmeen, etc. all started with VS and then did SI.
