Okay, the details.... where to start. This day has been fucking perfect. I got no more words for it.

Well, to start I had to wake up at around 5 AM this morning so I could have a good and relaxed breakfast and so I could be at around 7 AM at the starting line.

I did the 33 km category, up to the ski center I went training to last week and the week before. We started at 8:15 (15 minutes after the previous category, those who did 45 km to a ski center further up). I felt incredible through most of the race; I was surprised and kinda stunned at how good I was doing. I kept a great pace even in the curves sector, which is where it gets REALLY steep into the Andes. Upon reaching the finish line I didn't even felt that destroyed. Not even comparable to last year.

So... last year I did a time of 3:03 hours. So for this year I would have been happy to just go under the 3 hours. My goal was some 2:50 hours. 2:45 would have been perfect, and 2:30 was a wild fantasy...

And I did 2:26 HOURS!!!

And as if that wasn't enough I attended the prize ceremony (even though I did an incredible time for me, there's real monsters competing so no hope of making a podium for me) because at the end of it they were giving away bicycles: one for each big category (16 km, 24 km, 33 km, and 45 km) via a lottery of the competitors number.

So.... turn for the 33 km category and the first number to come up... WAS MINE!!!

So I won THIS BEAST

First off, that is one sweet prize there amigo! That bike looks dam pricey too! You for sure had the good luck charm and gods on your side that instance

And of course congrats on the timing sir! Just goes to show that all that practice does pay off! For the distance u traveled and the terrain, that is one heck of a time! Hell, I could only wish for the such I'm curious, u got any more races coming up? Congrats once again and I wonder, u keeping the other bike or selling it?

I was looking it up and it is quite pricey indeed

I'm still smiling for all this and I still can't believe it

And thank you!! I'm still impressed about the timing. I never would have thought I'd do THAT GOOD.

And no more races for now at least. And I need some good rest from this one.

I'm keeping the other bike (the orange one). It's a mountain bike (and new), so completely different from this newer one. It's great having both worlds.

But I still have my older MTB, the blue one which I was planning on taking it to Osorno... but now I'm considering maybe selling that one.

Ah okay, well rest up and time for one huge pizza and pitcher of beer dude

Looks like you have a few good bucks coming your way then! That bike win set u up good amigo

Thanks! And I've been incredibly lucky lately... I won those Guns N' Roses tickets last year and now this

And the training truly showed it's results.

And I already had a family size pizza today for lunch  With 2 beers. FINALLY since I gave up alcohol completely for a month for this.

Never heard it before (or them).

But I'm not sure if I like it.... I've never been much into the Symphonic Metal stuff or similar.

Xandria is nice for Symphonic though

It's not bad by any means, but not really my thing. With an actual orchestra instead of keyboards imitating one it would be better too.

After such a perfect day as it was yesterday I bring you back my clones today!

And I'm sure you'll gonna like this one because it's a song by QUEEN!

This is I Want It All

Thanks to @SuperG.Girl for helping to decide on the clones distribution on the screen

Me and my clones hope you'll enjoy it

Feel free to share it too!
