^ Done! (Y)

Or if you prefer Acapella...

Speaking of ABC and BBD, do you like them as well?

Oh and I like Shackles by Mary Mary... I actually forget about it for a couple years, but a couple days ago I just remembered it out of the blue and started listening to it again. Back in grade 7 I had to dance in front of the whole school to that song ... I was nervous beyond belief lol. The next year I danced to Jenny from the block by Jennifer Lopez.

Speaking of memories, out of the blue I just thought of the game Zelda... probably because I liked the music from that game lol. Back in the day I was obsessed with Zelda: Ocarina of time. My brother got it for his birthday and soon I was fighting with him to get my turns to play. Ahhh that was a great game... I've never been into video games but for some reason that game spoke to me. (Figuratively speaking of course)

I don't know Mary Mary either

Lol! Did the dancing go well despite the nerves?

Oh that game was great! I never had a console so I didn't have it but I used to play it at a friend's house. I remember very little actually, but I do remember it was fun

(I also know the soundtracks you posted  )

I was thinking about the Motown sound/style until I saw the song you posted

Yeah I remember telling you I went to a Boyz 2 men concert last Summer and you said you never heard if them. Not surprised you haven't heard of LFO they were pretty much a one (maybe 2) hit wonder. Most people I'd say would have forgotten about them... There's a line in that song that's lame as fuck... "Shooby-doo-wop and scooby snacks." What the hell is that lol. They were a cheesy boy band so you gotta expect that I guess... I just like the rhythm ... not so much the lyrics.

But yeah our tastes in music is probably like Night and Day. Though I know you like The Beatles... I can say that I adore the song "let it be" and I live John Lennon's Imagine.

I edited my post above... Read the end.

Yes, I remember that

Hahaha those are not brilliant lyrics indeed

Ah those are two amazing songs! And The Beatles are by far my all time favorites

If you like Imagine you may like this song too (is from the Imagine album as well).

Lennon wrote it while in India with The Beatles back in 1968 and under another title and different lyrics. It was originally called Child of Nature.

LOL...the song is definitely not Motown despite of the title. False representation I had a feeling it might not be your cup of tea but thought I would give it a try instead of assuming

I am surprised you have never heard of Canon in D. It is commonplace especially at weddings

^ Not Motown at all!! Such a deceiving title

Not my cup of tea indeed but I had a good laugh with the vids  But there's some things I could rescue from the music though (not the fake brass arrangement  ).

Oh, the Canon in D is one of the ones I've listened!

It also has a chord progression that has been used beyond exhaustion in popular music. There's plenty of Youtube vids about it

Again, don't blame you for not knowing Mary, Mary... if I didn't have to dance to the song I probably would have never heard of them as well.

I don't have any vivid memories from the dance.. so I take it that means it wasn't a total disaster and I didn't F&CK up bad. Probably because I was in a group with 4 other people and all the lights were turned off except for the stage lights, so I couldn't see the crowd. I remember that much.... Thank God for that. Arghh the worst part about school for me was the public presentations... I was such a chicken. I remember one time I was standing in front of the class and I was literally shaking... a couple students actually looked like they wanted to laugh.   Actually my most embarrassing school moment ever occurred when I did a speech... but its a girl thing lol. How about you... did you ace your public presentations in school?

I never heard those songs.. Jealous Guy and Child of Nature.... but yeah even if I didn't know who sang it I could make out it was the Beatles for sure. They have a distinct style. Speaking of distinct voices and style... Do you like any of Phil Collins music?

Oh that game was great! I never had a console so I didn't have it but I used to play it at a friend's house. I remember very little actually, but I do remember it was fun

Oh and just remembered I used to play Diddy Kong Racing and Mario Party (the first one). Ever play those games?? Ahhhh im getting so nostalgic.

In regards to that acapella version of Motown philly... oh God that was embarrassingly bad but that was obviously the intent. I take it this is from a TV show.. which one?

Lol!! I guess being in a group and no seeing the crowd relieved some of the pressure  . Haha I see you have some stage fright?.

I had quite some public presentations while on high school, playing music of course. I actually liked it , I love playing live

And before the band too, usually singing. I was in the school choir too

Oh, and one time, in 7th grade, in history we were studying Ancient Rome, and I already loved the subject and I had read a lot of it. So I asked the teacher to do a small presentation about it, like some sort of introduction to the subject I guess... And I ended up almost making those classes

Well, Jealous Guy is actually just Lennon, but yes it has that sound/style he had with The Beatles

Yes! I like his music. The most I've listened is his solo career though. I should start listening more Genesis

No, never played those haha. But I loved Mario Kart You played that one?

Yes, it looks like a TV show, but I have no idea. Pink must know the answer to that

Oh wow you asked the teacher to do a presentation. ??? Alright you obviously have no qualms about public speaking I'm jealous of you!

Mario Kart sounds familiar... I think my brother used to play it I never did.. Or I probably played once or something but definitely not enough because the memory didnt stick with me.

Yeah I prefer Phil Collins solo stuff as well! Probably my fav song of his is "You'll be in my heart"

Ok another question... I'm curious you have heard of the group NSYNC right?

Are you a Chicago fan? Love their music! Hard to say im Sorry, Glory of Love and Will you still love me.

Whoa I sure am bombarding you with questions... soon you'll be kicking me out of your thread!

I can't remember why I did that

No, actually I don't haha. I may get nervous before, but once I'm at it it's all good, be it on a stage, or public speaking.

Haha Mario Kart was one of my favorites   It was a N64 game.

I don't know if I prefer his solo career, I still need to listen more Genesis  , but yeah, I like it

I'm not sure if I've listened that one (probably I have, and I just don't know the title), but I love "In the Air Tonight".

Yes, I've heard of them. Never liked them though

I wouldn't call myself a fan, but I do like their music! "25 or 6 to 4" is one of the ones I like the most of them.

Ooo I didn't know "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" by name, I'm listening to it now. I had no idea it was Chicago

Lol!! Don't worry it's all good

Phew you've heard of NSYNC. I used to be in love with that group in their hey day... crushing big time on Justin T... though I could care less about him today.

Interesting never heard of "25 or 6 to 4" It wasn't a big hit right?

Have you been collecting anything as of late?

It looks to me that Hedvig Palm and Constance were not hits...:-(.  Currently I am doing a full review of Eniko, and I think she'll be more popular.  I am also doing Magda.

^ Awesome!

She has nice body and a beautiful face too.

Some Hannah Ferguson pics lately, and Marloes also. Edit: Kate Bock too!

Actually I'm not familiar with any of them. Eniko does sound great! She might do better indeed. I'm not a big fan of Magda, but she should be interesting too.
