The heightened hearing is nice cause with hearing loss you hear like everyone else, and sometimes when people whisper you can call them out on it 
3 Years of call centre work wearing headphones for 8+ hours a day and the normal grind of wanting to listen to music and everything is what caused it, nothing that just stands out just a thing over time.

Oh okay. Hope it stops progressing!. I've only had the occasional tinnitus that disappears after some seconds and that sometimes is annoying enough.
