btw I agree with your assessment of Hawaii photoshoot. Its bloody awful even in motion. The whole crew ought to be shipped to Mars. They dont belong here

speaking of ROTY, i know there were questions about what's the point, it's all pre-determined anyway, etc
well, i suppose no matter what you believe, this will confirm it, but last year's ROTY voting ended up with roughly these rankings:
- sara
- emrata
- gigi
- hannah f.
- samantha hoopes
- marloes
- lily
- cris
- bregje
- lauren
- chanel
- valerie
it gets a bit muddled in the middle of the list, but 5 of the top 5 came back and only 1 of the bottom 5 came back. (granted cris was pregnant; i do hope she returns)
so at this point, if the final percentages end up resembling where they've been for the past few days, it seems entirely probable that both erin and rose will come back for 2016. with the exception of ashley, the bottom of the list is a little less consistent, as robyn, solveig, and hailey have all been in or close to single digit percentages. as dismal as her pictures are, i think SI is stuck with robyn for more than a year, and they seem to really want to push hailey clauson as a kate replacement. i wouldn't hold out hope for ashley or solveig, though.
After watching the Hawaii episode got (negatively) shocked by how uncomfortable Gigi is in front of people....

After watching the TV specials I'm not sure I'm so on board with Gigi anymore, she doesn't seem to be the nicest person o.O the difference between her and Hailey's attitude was just day and night.
The Route 66 girls all seem like great people and I can see why SI decided to put those four girls together, having the wrong models in that shoot would've been a total bitch.
West Coast airs today btw, for those who are interested.

the only thing that bothered me about gigi was her saying she didn't like when people look at her... so why model? your career is based off of your appearance, and how you wear clothes and basically for people to look at you. i get that it's different when they are looking in a magazine but guess what, when you do runway shows or live appearances people will be looking at you. it just sounds a bit ungrateful and for that someone who would appreciate the experience more should have been in her place. her pictures weren't all that anyway.

i'm watching the west one now, lily looks great in motion it definitely made me appreciate her more. samantha hoopes voice is cracking me up as well as her super orange tan. she looks crazy and masculine imo. like that super fake porn star of the 90s vibe. mj said a "cover try" shoot was sam in the lavender field and she looks "flawless" .... mj girl.... please. still have kelly and chrissy's shoots to see.
I watched the last two and I had to say I liked Route 66 more.. Sara of course was great but the whole squad was pretty suitable for the road trip, despite I had to get used to Ashley.
Probably will watch when Natural Beauty gets haired for my girl Nina <3
Hailey wasn't on Route 66. That shoot looked like the most fun, honestly - especially having all the girls together, they really looked like they were enjoying it.
