Jeremy Irons and Blake Lively to Star in Giuseppe Tornatore's New Film
The Correspondence will follow the love story between a professor and a troubled university student
Jeremy Irons and Blake Lively are set to star in Giuseppe Tornatore's new film, The Correspondence. Set in UK and Italy, the movie will follow the love story between a professor and a troubled university student. Far from the university, Amy (Lively) works as a double for cinema and TV. Her specialties are the action scenes, stunts full of suspense, the danger that in fiction inevitably ends with the death of the double. It sounds like a mania driven by a passion for risk, but it's the girl's obsession with whom she misleads herself of sublimating a horrible sense of guilt. A wound that never healed, an outstanding balance. Her professor of astrophysics will help her finding the lost existential balance.
The Correspondence reunites many of the collaborators on Tornatore's latest effort The Best Offer, including regular collaborator Ennio Morricone, producer Paco Cinematografica, distributor-producer Warner Bros' Italy and sales outfit uMedia International.
