Technically it can be but that game is ALL MINE!
Here are 2 clips from a city I built that has the newly added Amusement Park content I purchased as a DLC not to long ago...enjoy!
...
It can be very intensive to complete such a major and the cost alone can easily deter many but I guess everything works out for a reason. All I know is we need to reign in the cost of getting an education or else we shall pay as a nation, already happening in many respects.
Oh jeez did you just say that pun hun?
But yes, I know how you feel, my show Southland was cancelled all of a sudden and it was one of TNT's best dramas and shows to date
I guess it's time to make way for another low bar reality show :bangshead: I heard about that rumor, that would be something else to say the least. I guess you heard the OTHER one already?
Oh, and how about some bread Pinky?

I guess when it comes to SimCity you are not much of sharer
You created those!?
For real!? Damn...they look hardcore & legit (Y) Very impressive. For that reason you also get another salute from me!
I agree, we need to reign in the cost of getting an education or else we shall pay as a nation. The number of young adults with massive debt is ridiculous. Such a shame they had to take out loans & etc in order to pay for school. Since the costs are so high it is taking them longer to pay off the debt. I feel our government needs to think of strategies to make the cost more affordable and reasonable. Or they need to figure out a system that would provide students with better financial support with less overall burden. We are definitely not doing all we can to invest in the growth and development of our future ![]()
Southland got cancelled? I have never seen the show but I have read decent reviews about it.
What OTHER rumor? Do you mean about BryCr being in Godzilla?
Breaking Bread...HAHAHAHA...
I wonder how popular is this bread after Passover? They should totally do a hard push after the holiday. They would so make bank. As much as I like bread, the fact Heisenberg is used in their in-store marketing makes me feel skeptical. It is probably has ricin in it ![]()
I saw this on eBay
Greet combo although it would be better if it was Jesse instead of Walt since Jesse is Walt’s minion ![]()

Thanks emot-salute.gif and that's definitely true about the electromagnetic waves (and enzymes, riboflavin ect. of course being sensitive to high temperatures in general). I try to heat up on the stove or in the oven on a low heat instead and for lunches take food that doesn't require heat although technically most of my food isn't cooked
. I have moreso a raw foods type diet with raw plant foods being the biggest group. I actually can meet protein and essential amino acid requirements for my weight without meat, but eat animal foods moreso for Vitamin B12 and as a treat rather than protein. I eat raw bee pollen too though which not only has the nutritional value of plants but Vitamin B12 too and a whopping 1 gram of protein per teaspoon. Of course, growing crops comes from my farm roots and due to the expensive nature of produce, I've tried to help city folk grow their own to save money. I know some in particular have even taken up to growing some on their own windowsils and apartment patios and are amazed at how much money they save as well as it tasting better.
I could barely keep most of my plants alive let alone grow my own food
I would totally grow my own food if I had the skills
Fruits and vegetables are ridiculously expensive and full of GMOs. Being able to grown them myself would be fabulous
Not sure do home grown plants contain GMOs though ![]()
I prefer to see and touch my tools first
That could be interpreted in more than one way ![]()
I thought the Forever21 I saw just so happened to be junky
.
Forever 21 is pretty junky but they do occasionally have decent basic pieces if you have the patience to dig through the mountains of clothes or on their website. Their PJ’s are ok ![]()
I wonder if its a virus or something

Even though Maxis/EA had me very upset with how they handled this games release I am finally enjoying it once again after months of patches. I shall share future cities once I have them rise from the ground.
Oh I completely agree on that hun. Combined student loan debt among all students exceeds the GDP of many nations...now how can that spur economic growth here domestically when peoples discretionary money is being emptied into student loans some of which offer no guarantee of a job to begin with
Sadly we are already suffering huge consequences of underfunding or should I say the ill incompetencies of those running our educational system over the last few decades. Doesn’t look good hun, sorry to say. I traveled to China before back in 2006 and if only more American students could see the tenacity and literal blood, sweat and tears a lot of students put into their studies to get ahead would it give many here a good wake-up call on the competition that is now here from the awaken sleeping giant that is China.
Ya it was cancelled, I just don’t get it, fans, numbers, actors were on board I don’t see why the sudden change up after a new promised season ![]()

Over 95% of the commercially raised produce in the U.S. has been sprayed with chemical pesticides and most do contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs) too. Unfortunately, GMOs don't stop with produce. Soy, corn, beet and white sugar, cottonseed oil and dairy products are the most frequently modified. Its all about making them grow faster and building tolerance to herbicides ect. On the positive side, the nutritional value of fruits and vegetables is still far superior to other foods even with the chemicals. Maybe a lesser of two evils so to speak
.
As to avoiding GMOs in produce, those with an 'organic' labeling have passed a government inspection to verify that they haven't used chemical pesticides, preservatives or GMOs. However, they have to pay for said testing which results in the produce then being even more expensive
. Its the same thing for animals and growth hormones. Unfortunately, the government only gives about 3% of its agricultural subsidies to produce farmers with a whopping 97% being for meant, dairy ect. If this were more balanced, more Americans could afford to eat more produce.
Aside from this, the 'Non-GMO Project' is a non-profit organization that seeks to help people avoid GMOs specifically. Products with the 'NO-GMO Project Verified' don't have the high cost of 'organic' labeled foods. I'd be remiss if I didn't add that I myself don't buy organic produce because of how expensive it is. I either grow the produce or seek out produce farmers or people who use natural methods even if they can't afford the government testing.
On the flip side, organic seeds are very cheap by contrast and they would allow you to grow food without the GMOs. Some dollar stores have like fifty or more seeds in a bag for %.50 and there are a lot of great online deals too. A lot of the plants even self-sow, so if you store the seeds, one plant can in theory provide several others. I would say for someone just starting out, herbs are probably the best thing to start with because they can be easily grown in a sunny windowsill even. What plants were you struggling to keep alive? I could maybe help out if you tell me what they are. Even if you don't have the knowledge to say run a farm or a lot of time for it, you'd be amazed how far just having the right type of soil and meeting its sun requirements goes. You'd be surprised how many plants need almost no care at all when established too

I read an article that said student loans are the #1 debt in the USA. Also, the cost is higher than it was about 10+ years ago but the amount of time professors are actually teaching is much less. TA’s seems to be doing most of the teaching nowadays. So where’s the money going towards? :notsure:
I have lived in the Far East so I have an idea of the diligence and tenacity of the students there. The educational system over there is also more intense and strict. I worked with this lady who’s a part-time nutritionist and she informed me about the negative effects of GMOs. Knowing the nutritional values of produce are still far superior to other foods is somewhat reassuring
It is indeed the lesser of two evil  Like most things in life, I think the topic of GMOs & its effects are not black or white---there are a lot of gray areas.
Oh is that why organic foods are so expensive? I thought it was because they were “fresher since there are no preservatives. The testing and compensation for it does make sense though. I sometimes question is something really organic b/c the term seems overused :notsure: Also, it is assumed that organic foods are “good” for you when it might not necessarily be true. Yes having organic meats are better for you than non-organic meats however the fat content is not always significantly different. And we cannot forget about salts, sugars and other flavorings that are added to foods.
What do you think is the reason the government only gives about 3% of its agricultural subsidies to produce farmers and 97% to meats, dairy and etc?
I have 2 Kalanchoes and the other one is a "mini palm tree” I don’t know the exact name of it so I took a photo ![]()

Oh, what version was it? Maybe you need me to teach you how to improve on that and this current version?
And I shall indeed share any future Simcity videos I upload
I actually heard a interest bit of news regarding the current release. Apparently there is a expansion pack headed our way by mid November. It's supposed to be called "Cities of Tomorrow" and the upcoming content is what the title describes. Here are 2 screen shots we have so far and it looks like the rumors are true since Amazon.com took down the content already for pre-orders.

I wouldn't doubt that article at all, student debt is at staggering levels that are contributing to people basically putting off a home purchase among other items. Heck, the cost is much higher now then it was just 5 years ago. For instance California schools have been raising their tuition multiple times in those years due to budget issue among "other" financial problems. Just look at the pay for administrators and all those shiny new sports complexes and you get an idea of where some of the money is going ![]()
It's amazing the levels of dedication and determination to lift themselves out of poverty or just for a better tomorrow they will commit too. Many American student would indeed fall short due to the higher standards and study/homework hours they give out vs what many students are use to here. Sort of makes you feel that we have failed as a nation eh?
Ha, Botox has miracle properties in small doses, go toxins! ![]()
Dang, always another time ![]()

You were right about the preservative thing, its just that you have to pay for the government testing to validate it
. You're also right that the saturated fat content of organic meat is often simular since they are still domesticated and don't exercise like wild animals do. Even though free range domesticated animals do exercise more than the average commercially raised animals, a wild buffalo for example is actually very low in fat (over 70% less) despite their husky appearance because they get a lot of activity compared to a domestic cow (organic or not) much like a wild boar compared to a domestic pig. I wouldn't eat buffalo since there aren't enough to go around, but I must say that to me their cheese is the best
. Of course we screwed ourselves by killing most of them all off, but that's another story
. Even with equal fat content, the advantage of organic meats is that animals (like humans) store toxins in their fat cells, so if they weren't fed crops sprayed with pesticides, then their fat isn't concentrated with pesticides and herbicides and they do tend to have more Omega-3s though not as much as cold water fish. In light of this, someone who can't afford such could also take the skin off of chicken since most of their fat is concentrated in the skin anyway and with others, you could probably cut the fat membrane off with a knife. Good point about them not factoring in the salt and sugar. That's also true that someone can label something 'organic' even if it isn't. Even though its illegal, the FDA is underpaid and understaffed, so it wouldn't be that difficult for a small time brand to get one over on them. To confound matters even more, there are companies who are genuinely 'organic' but just can't afford the testing :wacco: . I don't think you have to pay for an 'all natural' label though as some labels say 'all-natural with no hormones added' and they don't seem to be particularly expensive. There are little tricks to getting basically the same thing for less money. Family owned businesses that put the animals down humanely for example are just as unlikely to use harmful chemicals as an 'organic' brand even if they can't afford the testing. Also, words like 'free range' and 'grass fed' 'no hormones added' can be used even if you can't afford the testing.
As to the subsidies, I'm not sure. I guess government contracts with meat industry executives or something
.
I was just in a store with that same plant
. Maybe its a coincidence or maybe its just a popular plant
. It looks relatively healthy in the picture. It seems to be getting plenty of sun which is a must given that its native land is sunny. I'd just make sure there's adequate drainage holes and that the root ball isn't too confined with the roots running in circles ect. If that's the case, it would likely need for the outside pot to be the main pot with more dirt added so they can stretch out but its definitely a nice one
.

When looking at our education system I do feel we are failing as a nation. For goodness sakes we are #17 in the world!
Canada is going much better than us (they are #10). We are inadvertently setting our students up for not only financial failure but also academic failure when it comes to competing with other developing nations ![]()
