there is a difference in walking the show and becoming an angel again. Perpaps it is possible that Miranda will walk the show again one day, but to wear the FB bra is something else. And to become an angel again seems impossible to me.
Izabel hasn't come back, she never went away.
Sometimes models skip a year in walking the show, but they still are under contract.
Cara in 2013, could that be a sort of sign VS is giving us. (I hope not).

And yes, at her time Karolina was the youngest model ever to cover US Vogue with 17 and then she was the youngest model ever to walk for VS too I think in 2002. Karolina was THE model in 2002, clearly VS wanted to milk on that. Times have changed tho, I doubt we'll see a non-Angel wearing the FB (or opening the show for that matter) anytime soon.

Behati's engagement with that certain guy is interesting for them (I wonder what happens if/when they split up). Same was with Miranda. Yea sometimes i wonder why some are angels like Lindsay. Feel bad for her that VS hardly uses her yet they keep her on as an angel.

I could of sworn when I saw a sneak peek of the casting board I saw Miranda Kerr pics... In fact I was so sure it was her I would of put money on it at the time, but to be sure I wasn't seeing things I asked Whitney to take a look at the picture without telling her who I saw and the very first thing out of her mouth was... "is that Miranda?!"
So there's two of us who think she could of been on the board. Who knows though

As a number of people have already mentioned, she was really everywhere from 2000-2004 and was a favorite for practically every top fashion house, so it's not that surprising that she got the FB and opened the show before actually being an angel. I would argue the same for Carmen opening the 1999 show and Gisele opening the 2000 one. Unfortunately, the only non-angels i could possibly see getting are the socialite/celebrity models and even then I'd consider that highly unlikely.
I wouldn't be surprised if they had Miranda on their wish list. If she'd walk, that's another story.

. But KK said she walked her first show when she was 17, that's weird. The shows are in november and she was born in februari '84. So she was 16 in the show of 2000.
pretty unapropriate to let a 16 yr old walk a lingerie show. Officially you are still a child at 16. That would not happen again I think nowadays. I do understand why a lot of models have children earlier than 'normal people'. They start modelling around 15/16, so by the time they are 25 they already lived a whole live, and are already at the top of their career, or are past it, while normal people are only starting. Starting a family seems like the next step.

I think it would be so much better if VS ditched all the ex-angels and cast some of the stunning young women they've been shooting with this year. I would be so thrilled if them three in particular made it through.

Adriana & KK both walked for VS at 16. A few years later Isabeli Fontana created a huge uproar when she worked for VS's catalogue at 16. Since then VS has had an 18+ Policy (unless it's PINK clothing in which case a few 16- or 17-year-olds may have done it). No Adriana walked first in '99 when she was 18, the show was in february. VS still prides itself in discovering new models and all the time say it is because of VS, most of the models' career really took off/went to the next level. Pretty sure VS picked the models like Adri, Ale en KK because the were ALREADY up and coming. So they give themselves much credit. Now with likes of CandIce, Lily, Erin, Lindsay, yeah VS really made their career, same was the case for Heidi. Heidi and Candace were nowhere before VS, than suddenly they were everywhere.
I think PINK is more revealing than the rest, so that is a problem if they use underage models imo.
Lindsay opened for Chanel on her first show and Erin also had quite the resume when she started doing VS.
