Cheryl Ann Tweedy (most known as Cheryl Cole, Ashley Cole ex-wife) was the first person after Kate Moss to get a contract with L'Oreal Paris in The UK.

The singer created a Princess Diana effect on the press with her former relationship with the football player, and with The X-Factor, she got the contract.
 

Recently it ended. She has been the face of the brand for 9 years.

The contract currently was a value of 4 million pounds (A few years ago, I remember she renewing with L'Oreal Paris value of it was 1.5 million pounds)

I don't know if the reason of was because she wants to launch extensions hairline or just L'Oreal Paris preferring another face.
She also is no longer with The X Factor and no longer creates the same effect on media.
