The BZ Babe draft sign-up thread Locked

I'll use this thread to explain the rules as well.

How does it work?

Phase 1: signing up

Each person wanting to participate signs up in this thread. After we have enough participants (16 max, at least 8) we close the sign-up thread. The sign-up thread will be be closed on saturday 5th August, at 12 AM (local time in Belgium). (Unless if we don't have the minimum amount of 8 people participating, at which point the draft will be put on hold).

I will then let a random sorting method determine the draft order (the order in which each participant will make his first choice, and subsequent choices). I will post this draft order on sunday.

Phase 2: the drafting itself

After I posted the draft order on sunday, I will create a second thread for the drafting itself. The BZ Babe draft will then start the moment the person who is up first in the draft makes his first choice. Then the second person can make his choice, then the third, and so on. After everyone made his first choice, we run through the list again. This goes on untill everyone has five babes.

The subforum models are excluded from selection, to prevent problems in the voting phase.

To make sure that a person who is offline for a long period of time doesn't halt the drafting, there is a time limit in place: every person has a maximum of 8 hours to post his choice after the person who is up just before him has made a choice. After this time, this person doesn't lose his choice, but just his turn. He can then make his choice whenever he is on again. To prevent this from happening, however, participants will be given the chance to proxy their next choice (and a back-up choice just to make sure) to me (and hopefully one or two mods who would be willing to help me, I will post the details of this in the BZ drafting thread)in a private message. I or one of the mods can then post the choice for you, should you be absent. If someone else has taken your choice and back-up choice by then, however, you will again be put on the clock.

Phase 3: the voting phase

After everyone has drafted five babes, we go into the voting phase. Everyone gets me (or the same mods that I hope to find to help me out a bit) one picture of each of their five babes and a written piece of no longer than 2000 words (we don't want people to have to read entire novels ) that motivates their choices.

This will happen via pm. After I have received everone's pictures and 'papers', I will post all of this in a judging & voting thread, where the members of BZ can then decide who has the best BZ Babe ensemble. The voting will last for five day, after which the BZ Babe draft winner will be crowned.
